Jet Moto 2 Championship Edition????????????

However, when he booted it up, the game was different. The title screen
said "Jet Moto 2: Championship Edition".
When he went to play the game, all of the tracks from Jet Moto and Jet
Moto 2 were unlocked. It also worked with the dual shock controller,
and ran at 30 frames per second !!!!!!!!!!! Although all the characters
were available to be selected to race, the actual race only had four
riders total.
My version of Jet Moto 2 doesn't have any of the above features. Is
this some kind of secret code that was unlocked, or a fluke? I want to
be able to access all of these features (especially 30 frames per second
and dual shock support!!!!!!)
Has anyone else noticed this? Or is this some kind of error.....?

I didn't know about this...but it isn't surprising...apparently the
Strike game that was rereleased as a greatest hits title has been
retooled to make it slightly "easier" than the regular version. And
recently Lost World: Jurassic Park was rereleased as well.

I haven't seen the Green Lable one yet, but if you look at the display of
the Greatest Hits stand that some stores have, you can see a Jet Moto 2:
Championship Edition box on it. I guess it really does exist.

Hmmm...this is becoming a trend. Infogrames have improved V-Rally (dual
shock supprt, new cars) for its budget-price re-release in Europe. I'm not
sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing; I'd hate to buy a game only for
a better version to be released 9 or 12 months later for half the price.

What about the split-screen 2 player races? Still available? Is there an
option to have cpu racers during the split-screen races now? I don't have
the original Jet Moto but understand that this was an option or at least
enabled by a code. How many riders were in the original Jet Moto?

It's out (well, JM2 in the Greatest Hits packaging; I dunno about CE);
I saw it at Best Buy today (along with a Greatest Hits Crash Bandicoot
2).
I passed both over in favor of Spyro.
Speaking of, the October issue of _Game_Buyer_ has a $10 off Sears
coupon for Spyro.

You're going to end up paying the same amount at EB or SE as you would at
Sears *with* the coupon... although they were the only place that had copies
of WOXL around here.
