In save situation, winning pitcher credited w/ Win *AND*
save in the statistics...
Other bug I've found.... Fielder's Choice. If runners are
safe all around it's ruled FC, no hit awarded. WRONG! If
someone was out, that's right.... otherwise it's a hit...
The save one bugs the shit out of me.....
Also, what does changing computer difficulty level do? I
notice I'm playing a season on Rookie, and everything is a
strike. Does it always work like that, or is it harder on
Allstar in relation to pitching, or what? Can you change
difficulty mid season????

Intriguing thing is that TP is supposed to support multitap and link.
If you could see your fielders in link mode, this is a new dimension to
baseball games. Fielding becomes a big part of the game.

Agree about the graphics of Sony games. I wonder if SCEA has insights
or special libraries to make their games look so good which they havne't
shared with third-party developers.

Blue Sky software, which made World Series, also makes football games.
Their MVP Football sounds promising too.

Where is 3D Baseball from Crystal Dynamics? The previews
for it look pretty good (see ad in Gex or Total Eclipse). I am
hoping this is a good one.
I liked WSB on the Saturn a lot. I'll bet the Blue Sky people
will do a fine job on a PSX Baseball game.

I've recently seen Sony's new demo video which included PR and I was
EXTREMELY impressed by both the graphics and the fluidity of the camera work.
Also, I just read an article in some PlayStation magazine (wish I could
remember which one) and they interviewed one of the programmers who described
stats and options galore. There will be a simulation mode for purists and an
arcade mode for people who just want to hack away (like me). I really think
this one is going to be the PSX baseball game that we've all been waiting for.
We'll find out on May 21st.
PS Extreme, May '96 issue, which had screenshots of several other
baseball games. The thing that stood out about PR was the 30 fps.
Otherwise, the graphic stills looked comparable across most games. PR
and Triple Play, at least in the Pitcher/Batter screen, looked very
similar. MVP Baseball by DataEast looked very good.
