PSX Backups

Hi all,

I am kind of new at all the "backup" disc stuff. I recently
received my bootdisc so I can now run backups. I had copied one game
just to test it out and see if it worked. It seemed to run just fine.

Now, my question is this: How do I 'really' know if my backup worked or
not?
If it loads the game does that mean that everything went ok?

I just hate to use a backup and then find out on the next to last scene
of a game that something was wrong with my copy!! (At that point, you
would probably find my Playstation on my front lawn, having been thrown
through the window!)

Any answers or assistance that anyone can give me will be appreciated!
