Hey to anybody that's played Sonic R, so how is it? How are he graphics? Is
it fun? Is it long enough and enjoyable enough to buy it? How is it compared

I've played it. I think it's a lot of fun. Racing with a Sonic theme.
Compared to other racing games, it has a lot of replay. The only thing I
was a little disappointed in was the 2 player game. It should have had
Netlink support! For a review, go to www.digitalsports.com and look in the

it hasnt aged very well. I got it out to play it a few weeks back

At the time it didn't blow anyone's socks off but looked good enough to fulfill the '3D sonic' thirst people were craving on the Saturn in the mid and late 90s

At its core is a confused game that doesn't quite commit itself as a racer and does a poor job of adapting platforming to a racing formula. I'd akin it to a platforming title before comparing it to something like Mario Kart.

It's one of the only games out there to supposedly be 'haunted' (IE, strange glitches and occurrences that can't be replicated from one copy to the other) due to the lead programmer killing himself during production. I personally didn't have anything peculiar happen (other than dealing with the possessed camera system of course!)
