Well, one of my friends bought this game used for $1 before and we could never get
it to work. He always used a 3D Pad that comes with NiGHTS (keep this in mind) and
I use a normal controller. So I came over, tried the game, worked flawlesly,
leave, I turned it off and he tried again, didn't work. Over and and over we
tried. It came to the point where he deemed it worthless and threw the CD in his
room somewhere.
Fast forward 6 months later, by this time my friend doesnt use a 3D Pad anymore,
just a normal controller.
We were looking around and found the CD to Golden Axe...so...we tried it. Same
system keep in mind, worked perfect. Had no problems ever. Odd, why didn't it work
at first? Oh well...
I play a quick game of Burning Rangers (using a 3D Pad), and then afterwards he
wants to play Golden Axe some more...hmm...doesnt work now.
I'm sure you've figured out what I'm getting at, Golden Axe The Duel is /not/
compatable with a 3D Pad. Yes that might sound wierd but it's true. The game wont
boot if you have one plugged in, and if you do plug one in while it's on it'll go
to the CD boot screen.
I even recently purchased this game for 78 cents new, and it does the exact same
thing on my system.
Weird...

Electronics Boutique. Or EB. They had a copy, so I picked it up.
I'd buy any Saturn game for 78 cents...exception being Myst, owning one copy of
that piece of s*** is enough. Heh heh...

Golden Axe: The Duel only works with the original control pad. It won't
work with the 3D controller, the Virtua Stick, or the Mission Stick
(three that I have tried). I got a new copy for $6 still wrapped and
had the same problem.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Where is this list? I've been trying to find one for a few months
now...I checked the address above, which goes directly to the Renovation
FanPage. I've been collecting for about 8 months now and have 79
different US titles. I'd love to have a list so I could keep up with
what I have vs. what was available.
Thanks
