You need to go back before you can go forward. Back a few rooms there is a
slot in which she needs to use that metal pole. Once she does, the big door at
the back of the eye beastie will open

After you get the two statues head back to the main room with the incense
burning thing in the middle and you'll notice three big red circles on the
ground, place (use) the two statues on two of the red circles and stand on
the third and all will be revealed.

with which alignment did you enhance the sword? you need to use the
alignment that dominates the color of the glyph.

Think back to elementary school. Then, take out the sword and match the
colors of the spell with the colors of that sword slot.

You need to enchant the Ram Dao with the same allignment that is on the door.
(If it is red then use the red spell) when you do, the plaque should dissapear
and let you through. Hope that helps

actually, you'll get a new (dominate) alignment rune by killing the
zombie that has it -- should happen before you reach the enhanced door.

I've played that chapter through several times, it is always the same
alignment as the color on the plaque. At any rate, just try to enchant with
whatever runes you have, it should open.
I think you get the INFERIOR rune be killing the Horror that has it, You don't
get the supior rune until the maximillian stage
Thanks, after fooling around a little, I was able to figure it out.
Just finished the Forbidden City chapter.
