I have reached the point in the game where the Omega Pirate keeps
killing me. Is there a cheat for unlimited health that will help me
get past this bit? I'm bored and about ready to give up on this game.
I've seen a posting for L,R,L,R,L,R,B,Y,Z but this doesn't appear to
work for me (unless I'm doing something wrong).

Thanks.

You can buy one of those Ultimate Codes disks for $10.
They sell them at Gamestop, EB etc.

For the low, low price of YOUR MORTAL SOUL, i will magicly create a
cheat code for you.

* note: i know this is not possible, but if he can somehow rip his
soul out, i'll figure out a way =P

You know I had the same problem with that damn Omega Pirate for a couple
of weeks. But eventually I prevailed. A friend of mine had no problem
with the Omega Pirate, but was getting hung up with Mecha-Riley. I was
able to defeat him/it on the second try. My only problem is in finding
the two more missle upgrades. I want to finish 100%, but I can't seem to
find a code that gives me all of the missles :(

Where's the fun in just finding a code to get you to 100%? Come on,
just play the game! Where's the reward in cheating?

I must have traversed the entire map twice looking for my last missile
upgrade, but in the end it was worth it.

Yeah; I hope to get back to it on my X-Mas vacation. I want to
finish it without cheating, but if I can't find the damn thing, I will
cheat. Never cheated on a Metroid game, but this one is really
testing me.

Still proud of my Metroid 2 finish time of 100% at 1h49min :)

I managed to get past the Omega Pirate in the end. I suppose that it
is good for your soul to struggle for a while.

Now stuck with Mecha-Ridley. Grrrr. Wish there was some way of turning
off the cut scenes.

Overall, although this has been frustrating on occasions, it isn't a
bad game.

I found Ridley easier than the Omega Pirate. Once you figure out how to do it,
he's toast.

I think it's fair. If you screw up it's usually youself or you didn't think it
through. Clues are offered.
