Besides Sega (with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and the Monkey Ball
Series), and to some degree Capcom (Resident Evil Series) - Name me a
3rd party developer that's having smashing success with the Gamecube.

in addition to the ones you mention:
Eidos is having some noteworthy releases (like Timesplitters).
EA scores pretty well with for example Medal of Honor.
Factor 5 did a good job selling Rogue Leader.

Not many. It's so bad for 3rd party developers it's "laughable". It's just
so laughable.

Factor 5

From the mind of Andrew Kicks.
Everything is biased.
Even the world leans to one side.

Electronic Arts, definitely. Sure they may be cutting back on a few
sports games (doesn't personally bother me), but they've got other big
games that are doing well. For example:

SSX Tricky
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
James Bond (both Agent Under Fire and Nightfire)

and there's probably more I can't think of off the top of my head.

if you don't like gamecube, then do not buy or play it.
