I keep losing mario's hat in Shifting Sand's land, and then I get it
back but every time I reset it I have no hat, what is the reason....
Help me please

You need to collect a star and save the game in that level in order to keep
your hat. Otherwise when you reset it goes back to the last saved game.
(Which means you must have gotten a star after you lost your hat.) You could
get a star you have already gotten in order to save, just as long as you get
some star.

Could be a bug. Try getting another star once you get the cap back, then
Save and Quit. If that doesn't work, start a new player "account" and beat
to that level, see if the problem repeats.

Have you tried collecting a star so the game saves after you've got the hat
back?

I noted that the big bird flying around has the cap in it's mouth. Get
it back and that's it!
