Ridge Racer 64...Oww Yeah!
I haven't dropped the controller for two weeks on this one. This game made
me stop playing Zelda! It's only $20 in most stores in the US, definately
worth it.

Let me also say that RR64 sucks by comparison. The physics are terrible. Its
like your tires are glued to the ground. I never let up off the gas, because
if you tap your brakes, you skid and loose control until your car comes to
almost a stop!
World Driver lets you power slide through corners. You can tap the brake a
little or steer a little sharp to cause your car to oversteer and control-skid
through corners.
I also agree with the first comment, there is a lot of times when you are going
all-out and still remain in a tightly packed group of cars. Its exciting.
I can also appreciate the fact that they don't seem to do that annoying thing
where they speed up cars that are behind. Your place is dependant on your
skill and luck in the race.
Another game I'd recommend is the Formula 1 game. I can't remember the name of
it, and there are 2 that I've seen. I believe that I got the newer of the two.
Its not quite as good as WDC, but still pretty fun. Its very technical. You
have to set your tire type, wing angles, fuel levels, etc to fine tune your car
for a particular track.
The funky steering takes a little getting used to. Its much tighter than WDC,
unless you set your wings to have little downforce. Overall, its much more
challenging than WDC, but not quite as fun yet.
BTW, has anyone out there bought a steering wheel controller? I was thinking
of getting one, but someone told me once that it wasn't worth the money.
