For those of you who didn't hang on to your instruction manuals or rented the
game and didn't get a book, here are some tips to pulling off the wrestlers'
special moves...

First off, be sure to go to the Options Menu and turn Spirit Meters On. This
way you will know when you are on special. When your spirit meter is all red
and the border of it is flashing, tap the analog stick to do your wrestler's
taunt/crowd appeal. It will boost his spirit just enough to get you on
special. Now, there are 5 ways to pull off special moves in this game and most
wrestlers don't do more than 2 or 3 of them.

***REMEMBER*** Your spirit meter MUST be flashing "SPECIAL" in order to pull
off the moves!

The most basic is when both wrestlers are standing. Do a strong grapple and
then push the analog stick in any direction. Here's an added tip for moves
that require you to grapple your opponent from the back such as Lex Luger's
Torture Rack. You can grapple your opponent from the front and then press the
"L" button. Your wrestler will then swing behind your opponent.
***BONUS TIP*** To do one of your opponents' moves (sometimes even his
special) do a strong grapple while on Special and instead of pushing the analog
stick, press A and B at the same time! Give Goldberg a Jackhammer using Rey
Mysterio or do a Luchadore move with Giant! VERY cool feature!

Another way to do a special is by weak grappling your opponent and throwing him
into a corner (diagonal + C-down). Once your opponent is in the corner, do a
strong grapple and push the analog stick.
***NOTE*** Not all wrestlers can do this. I know that Diamond Dallas Page
does one this way (Diamond Cutter from the top rope) so experiment with him to
figure out how to do it.

You can also achieve a special move by gaining a strong grapple on your
opponent, throwing him into the ropes, and then pushing the analog stick as he
approaches you. Again, not all wrestlers can do this and DDP does have a move
that is pulled off in this way.

The 5th way is by having your opponent laying on the mat near a corner. When
this criteria is met, climb the turnbuckle and let your guy do his move. I
haven't confirmed who does and doesn't do this kind of special so you'll have
to experiment.

I hope this helps many of you out and if you have questions about other aspects
of the game feel free to E-mail me. I'm no "Revenge Master" by any stretch of
the imagination but I can answer just about all general questions. :-)

If you tap the control stick while Macho Man is on the top rope he will put up his
arms before doing the elbow just like the real Macho Man. The problem is that it
takes so long the opponent usually gets up before you deliver the elbow, very
frustrating. Though not as upsetting as having to deliver the Diamond Cutter or
Evenflow DDT three times because the guy keeps getting up.

you can make any player taunt from the top of the top ropes by tapping the
analog stick.
