On Thursday … I was sitting in Senator ??????’s office at the state capitol in Austin, Texas …… I was speaking with Senator ??????’s “Legislative Director” concerning the state of mental health care in Austin, Texas (Travis County) …… I have gone almost ten years without seeing a psychiatrist …… I have gone almost ten years without seeing a psychiatrist BECAUSE the working poor and the uninsured middle class have ZERO access to mental health care in Austin, Texas ……

I felt important while I was speaking with her …… Her supervisor is a Senator who has the power to cut someone’s budget if she makes a request to a government agency (such as Travis County Mental Health) and that government agency tells her to go screw herself the same way government agencies ALWAYS tell me to go screw myself …… I felt important while I was in her office …… I felt important on the drive home from the state capitol building …… When i got home …… i realized that i am NOT important …… i realized that i am nobody …… The “Legislative Director” for this Senator treated me with dignity, courtesy, and respect …… She (or one of her staff) called Travis County Mental Health and politely asked them to please ……

Because Travis County Mental Health is a government agency …… And the person calling them was the “Legislative Director” of a powerful Senator …… The government agency pooped their pants and jumped ten feet in the air …… The government agency was instructed to stop refusing to accept me as client after almost ten years …… The government agency then called me shortly after I got home from the Senator’s office and asked me if I would like to come in and meet with someone at the government agency who could help me get the mental health care I have desperately needed for the last ten years …… I showed up at 8:00 am the next day. (as soon as the doors opened) …… And then I thought to myself …… “Is this how it works?” …… I am Nobody …… I am Unwanted …… My life has Zero value in the United States ……

Unless I am able to drive to the state capitol …… Meet with the “Legislative Director” of a powerful Senator …… And somehow convince her to contact Travis County Mental Health and ask them to please quit screwing around and do their job …… Unless you are able and willing to use extreme methods …… Unless you are willing to fight to the death …… You will have ZERO access to mental health care in Austin, Texas.

I was devastated when I heard that Mark Anthony Conditt had died …… A fresh faced bright eyed college kid who would go on to briefly work in the tech industry …… Mark Anthony Conditt had committed suicide in order to avoid being murdered by the government who desperately wanted to assassinate him …… Mark Anthony Conditt fought back against Travis County Mental Health’s “Zero Access” policy toward the working poor and the middle class …… Just for the record … I would like to say that I STRONGLY DISAGREE with Mark Anthony Conditt’s choice of bombing targets …… Several innocent people lost their lives …… For Mark Anthony Conditt’s choice of targets ...
