It has been a while since I last played in a game with a wrapping map.

Please refresh my memory - what ini file do I create/edit to get the map to
scroll?

map.ini

wrap=yes
size=2000

where, of course, 2000 is the size of the map.

If you are asking in reference to Lost Tribes III, you'll want to use
size=2100 though;)
