I was at my parents' house and decided to spectate an onslaught game,
but when I brought up the browser, there wasn't a single server listed
under any game type. The browser acted like it had actually talked to
the master server.

They're using dsl with at&t, and there's a wireless router between the
computer and the modem. And the system has Bitdefender firewall
running, but I don't think it was blocking the game.

Did Epic or Atari or whoever take down all the official 2004 servers
after the release of 3, or is the problem something I'm overlooking?
And if there aren't any official servers, how do I find unofficial
servers? Somebody must still like this game. Onslaught is fun to
watch, and Bombing Run is a nice change of pace from CTF.

Speaking of spectating, didn't I hear that 2k3 was supposed to come
with "push" technology, so you could watch games without taking up a
spot for players?

I'm able to bring up servers using the in-game server browser. Check
your firewall.

Don't know about the 'push' thingy, but most servers have reserved
spots for spectators.
