Hi

I' using a USB-Logitec 2-Button-Mouse. I have problem to us this mouse with
Unreal Turnament for Mac.

I think it's a problem of the USB-Driver. How can help me.

Hey,

Yes, get USB Overdrive for sure. Greatest thing to hit USB devices ever.

It's quite useless to download USB Overdrive to use *any* USB mouse with UT. USB
Overdrive is great for any application or games without input sprocket support,
*but* since it conflicts with the input sprockets, any game that supports those
won't be able to work with USB mice. To play a input sprocket supporting game
you have to *deactivate* USB Overdrive (which is luckily quite easy, since
there's a corresponding option in the control panel).

To the guy which posted the original message: it would be great if you could
specify your problems, so that we know *exactly* what's wrong.

I see you've done your homework :) but I think it depends on what OS and wich
version of USBoverdrive you try to get to work together.

Anyway, if he wants to use his mouse outside of UT and installs the logitech
driver, I thinks he's going to experience some serious fun in UT :) - looks like
the logitech driver conflicts with UT.

My advice:

get the USB overdrive (latest version supports macos sprockets)
install it
run UT

if you encounter problems: follow Simons advice; tell USBoverdrive to deactivate
(it's all in the readme) while playing UT (you'll still be able to use your mouse)

Okay...this is a little off-topic, but I'm having problems getting my
Intellimouse Explorer working w/ UT.  I've d/l'ed the 413 patch and
still can't get UT to recognize my mouse except when I toggle out of
full-screen mode and even then, only in the menus.  I tried playing in a
keyboard-only configuration, but it's too painful.  I'm about to plug my
stupid puck-mouse back in...please tell me that's not the answer!

Here are my specifics:

G4 500 MHz
896 Mb RAM
ATI Rage 128 (stock card) driving Sony 19" Multiscan E400
3dfx Voodoo3 3000 driving an older 15" piece of crap
Macally iKey keyboard
M$ Intellimouse Explorer

TIA,

Thom
