For some reason, whenever I use the <SHIFT> key in conjunction
with any other key, the game locks up hard. Even <CTRL>-<ALT>-<DEL>
will not work, I have to power off the system. If I disable sound
(music and digital,) then it works fine in a DOS boot, but still does
the same thing in Win98se. If I set to AdLib music (with SB - Speech)
it does the same thing in Win98se, but in a DOS boot, it will just
freeze the music. Hitting a <SHIFT>-<any key> combination again
starts the music back up. Acting as a toggle of sorts. I've moved
the IRQ's and DMA's around, disabled all other devices in BIOS, did
everything I can think of to insure that there are no system conflicts
and the problem remains. I seem to recall haveing this problem with
my old AWE32 card, and fixing it by changing the midi-map that the
card uses. I cannot do this with the Audigy however, and it may
actually be a different problem. Please, can someone help me here?
Thank You,
Feeding Dragon
