She's certainly very good at it.
> Why would Angelina Jolie not make a new Tomb Raider film...?
It's the studio not her that's making the descision. She's
said she'd like to do another one.

I heard she was too busy with her growing family, and they are
recruiting Megan Fox to replace her.
no way! yuck! that would't work at all. no angie, no lara IMO.
I gleaned this from one of the tabloid sites ...
FOX WONT TAKE OVER TOMB RAIDER ROLE
MEGAN FOX is determined not to be hailed as the next ANGELINA JOLIE - she has
side-stepped a role as gun-toting movie tough girl LARA CROFT....

Could just be posturing, of course ...
PW
Maybe so...I mean...being known as the next "Angelina Jolie" aint such a bad
thing. It certainly would hold more potential career weight than the next
"Lara Croft"...
Duncan
you say it well... "no angie, no lara" :-D

Megan is a fox yes but shes no Lara. They need AJ!
McG.
She's had a baby and her tits sag. They used to be Perfect! :-D Oh, and a
B-cup.

A cheaper actress? A younger actress? An actress who will toe the line
on what the movie studio wants?
A complete story reboot? (When I first heard the rumour about the new
movie -- "they" were saying that it would include a complete rewrite of
Lara's background (make her younger, American, more relevant to today's
audience, American, did I mention - American?))
Who owns Eidos now?

THAT is audaciously pugnatious rubbish!!!! So what will they do now? Turn
the game into a pro tournament sport title? oh wait, they already did that.
I think that story reboot is a rotten thing.

An American company. :-x
McG.
the only real lara is made of polygons :-)
> most beautiful female on Earth. What more could anyone want?
somebody who is a bit athletic? wobbly AJ is ruining the movies.
given that I don't really care what a good actress she is, she shouldn't
be in TR movies...
see Chocolate http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183252/ now that's the
actress that could play Lara, unfortunately she doesn't look like lara...

It's possible they could create a good Tomb Raider movie with an
Americanized heroine... but it wouldn't really be Lara.
It'd be like an Americanized Dr. Who or James Bond. Some essential
'Lara-ness' would be missing.

yeah! I'd much rather watch the Alison's audition than previous TR
movies :-)
erik
But watching Alison perform, now that's enjoyment! :D
McG.
yeah, I liked the movies, they were not amazingly TR-like but not
completely off either. Wonder whether there are any gymnastics videos of
Alison around... youtube seems to have only interviews etc. (didn't
search much though)...
