In article <Z%PO3.56$MJ6.3...@news.bctel.net>, but only after serious
contemplation, RaVen <doma...@yahoo.com> put finger to keyboard and
produced the following;

How could you possibly prefer to listen to "music" rather than the
riveting TS soundtrack ???! :-}

Well, you could get a digital audio capture program, copy the desired
tracks/cds over to your hard drive, compress to MP3, and play them in looping
order on Winamp before you start, but that would bar you from hearing "Missile
Launch detected" and the other sound effects...

I think if Winamp is playing, you can still hear the other sounds. Your
sound card has a built in mixer for that purpose.

Did you rip all of the music out of the CD and play them on your harddisk?
or just running the game on harddisk, then put the one game CD which has the
music you want to listening?

I extracted the songs and converted them to either MP3 or wave, depends on
how lazy I felt at the time. :-)

I see, I thought you did some magic to let the game recognize the other's CD
to play music : )
