Can anyone help please? I store my discs in a cabinet and always throw away
the original packaging. Big mistake! I have had to reformat my hard disc
and now wish to reinstall Tiberian Sun - but, alas, no serial number as it
was on the original box. If anyone could help me with a serial number I
would be very grateful - and so would my kids!!!

If you need proff I really bought it I can scan the discs or instruction
manual if you wish.

Thanks a million

Andrew Cooper

If you really bought it you can get new numbers from Westwood. Personally
I"ve always thought putting the numbers on the cd itself would make more
sense, but I don't work there.

You should ditch that habit or start writing your serial numbers down.
It'll save you a great deal of grief.

How does that prove you own it? Scans of those things should already
be readily available on the net.

Don't mention it.

BTW, it won't likely work online.

Putting it on the CD would insure it was never lost. They could still put it
on the jewel case as well for convience when installing. It is possible and
easy to do both.

I'll mention it to them for you, but I don't think it will make much
difference. :)

Like Reykov said - it would be difficult to read if it was in the drive :).
EA are corporate morons anyway - so wouldn't let Westwood do anything
useful.

Westwood employees are morons, they'd probably print the same serial on each disk...

I write all serial #'s and/or registration #'s on the inside of the jewel
case insert. Works for me.

People who write code and programs are smart in that way, but usually don't
have much common sense. They have to be told when to take showers, brush
their teeth, change clothes, etc....... :)
