I just got livin` large for xmas and i haven't got clowns! How do you get them?

i'm not telling you to do this, just how it would be done. clowns aren't
fun things, they're annoying pests like the roaches.

To get the Tragic Clown to come, have your Sims purchase his painting. Then
let them get really sad. and good luck, because the only (non-cheat) way to
get rid of him is to cheer your sims......

You want the clown. Clown fun. Funny, too. Friend to child and adult, clown.
Funny tricks galore. Better than genii.

To get the clown to come around: Evoke clown-ness in a Sim home by
purchasing the picture of the Tragic Clown. Put that classy portrait on a
wall, even outdoors if you're really classy. Then, chose your least favorite
member of that household, and make them miserable. Starve them. Do not let
them use the commode. Do not allow them to bathe. Keep them anti-social. If
they must socialize, guide them to do unpleasant things, like tickling
strangers, bragging, insulting, attacking. Then make them lonely again. Keep
it up without killing your unhappy Sim, and chances are, you will Achieve
Clown Worthiness. Admire his dexterity as he juggles! Laugh as he does silly
clown things! Try this: Wall him in with no door. Funny!

Oh, most importantly, go to www.thesims.com and download "Clown Catchers."
The second that creepy weepy sucker shows up, run, do not walk to the phone
and call the Clown Catchers. They're good people. Clowns are not. Enjoy the
animations and sounds.
