I seem to have that power sometimes. Hmmm....
LOL
Anyways- hope you are all well. Take care.
Cheers!

I'm still here, kinda.
I still play the sims but I've reading a lot of books lately, plus I
discovered Dr. Layton (very addictive!). I also got a Blackberry and I'm
spending less time on my computer because I can check mail, news, etc on
it. Somehow checking newsgroups on a BB doesn't appeal to me.
Also there has been some family stuff: my aunt arranged that my
grandmother moved to a nursinghome near her. She did that behind our
back because she knows my father doesn't agree with it (doctor told us
last year that every time she has to adjust to a new environment her
memory/overall health will deteriorate). My aunt only told us when
basically everything had been arranged and my grandmother moved last
week. According to my aunt's phonecalls she adjusted just fine, except
when she called on Monday and let it slip that grandma is finally
settling down and isn't as restless as last week anymore...
At the moment I have the "new EP blues": I don't feel like playing
because I want all the new feature of the upcoming EP. I'll post my
thoughts when I get it, though it might take a while because I ordered
it in the UK and they're sending it with the regular mail..
Everybody else okay?

There's a new EP? I guess it's about time for one. I'm getting out of
touch with sims.
Best wishes

Yeah- mine have been calling to me lately.
Time to check in on those mischievous little creatures i have created
i suppose. I always imagine them off doing their own thing while i
don't have the game running- then when i come back they are like
"Quick! He's back! Act normal (nervous whistle)" and then somehow my
fave Sim will then have Goopy or some Tranny Hooker living with them
behind my back or something LOL.
Good to read you both, Rumpel and Maxon.
I just found it odd there were no posts since my big long love letter
about Dragon Age.
Cheers!

People just aren't posting much anymore. I still play sims 2, though
(but am caught up in Endless Ocean Blue World at the moment).
People have drifted away to other places. A number of us are growng stuff
and cooking stuff and the like on Facebook. And I have been away on
holiday, not so far from you as it happens.:-)
The sun is shining, I am not indoors as much, but my sims get an outing from
time to time. Goopy has a son who looks remarkably like a grown up David
Ottomas for some reason, and another who is an alien. One picked up Peter
Sims who assured her he was rich in a speech bubble of $$$ and then brought
just one simolean to the house coffers. Another picked up the real Mr Big -
I thought it was the fake one until he moved in with lots of cash.:-)

I have yet to actually see Mr. Big--I guess I should go downtown more.
These characters never apppear when you actually want them anyway. When I
wanted to turn David Ottomas I took him down town every night for a week,
before using a cheat to summon a vampire for him to meet.

I suppose that's an advantage to having the business perk to know
everyone in town. Hmm, which means I have several characters in my
BACC that could call Mr. Big and eventually invite him over.

As long as you know his name.:-)

Is it not "Mr. Big?"

Erm, I've been a little distracted. Playing Sims3, Facebook claims a lot of
time, work, Dragon Age is horridly addictive (for me), baking with the kids,
gardening. You know, all sorts of stuff. I did manage to get 3 of my recipes
posted for others to try :P
Plus my news server's been weird since getting broadband - some night it
just will not work. Different ISP/server to what I had on dialup
No, mine is called Bobby something or other, but don't take that as the real
answer, I have a hack that makes for more "real" names for NPCs ( other than
the basic characters such as Goopy).

Is it not "Mr. Big?"
No - he has a Maxis name usually. Also, if you use Pescado's notownie regen
with an empty neighbourhood or before Mr B is generated you won't have one.
You can identify him as he's dressed in the smoking jacket (the red morning
suit (tuxedo) shown in the Prima Guide is wrong).
Best wishes

Thanks. How do I recognize "the Diva"?
She goes by the name Naomi and tends to throw cell phones at her
employees when they piss her off!
LOL
Sorry.. couldnt resist. heh
She's the only one wearing the red evening gown with the red scarf
around her neck. Be ready for her -- she's a real bitch. LOL
Jeanie
OMG! For real? i was wondering why i could not find that outfit along
with that scarf in my wardrobe!
It was driving me crazy!
In one neighborhood- i have her living with a coven of about 6
Vampires. She and one of the lovely ladies seemed to strike it off
very well.
Now i know why she has that scarf!
Status symbol materialistic witch! LOL
