sims superstar strategy guide

Having a problem hoping someone can help. While playing Sims Superstar
there is an impass. While i realize i must make friends with the top 10 of
the whose hot list the hows have escaped me. I have not been able to effect
a friendship-relationship between any of the top 10 and my sim.
Second question, on sims making magic i can not seem to locate black
roses. If anyone knows where or how to acquire them i would appreciate this
knowledge.

Black roses are left by the obsessed fan.
You can make friends with stars by casting spells on them. You can also
do it by meeting them, then calling on the phone to talk, once a day,
until normal interactions become available. Slow and tedious, but it
works if your interests are compatible.
You need a certain number of friends with starpower; you don't need the
top ten list.
It's more interesting if you do it fair and square the first time
through. The second star you make, you can cut the tedium with
liugnosscheat, or go straight to the top with liugnogoldstar, or even
liugnomgcharm (to generate the Maxis "price of fame" charm.

And you can even do it the real-life "Hollywood way" if you have the
right hacked objects (the ones that allow "conjugal relations" between
Sims that are just acquainted) -- invite them over and have sex with
them. ;-)

Nothing to tell, beyond what I related. There are a few Sims1 hacks
around which allow two Sims who are pretty much "just acquaintances"
(I think you need at least a 40 to 50 relationship score) to have sex
*on the spot* in a variety of positions -- no bed, furniture, tiles,
etc. required (the interactions appear in the "pie" of interactions,
but bear in mind that this is a global sort of hack and it sometimes
causes other interactions to not appear in the "pie").
The problem is that they come from M&M Needful Things and all of these
interactions (and their animations) have gone "pay" (they're no longer
free like they used to be).
