Making droids bark advertisements?

Hi, I've gone back to SWG after a very long break (stooped just after
NGE). I've started a trader character and wanted to set up a droid to
advertise for me.

I've got a droid with a Merchant banker module fitted
I've got an active vendor set up.
Everything I can find online says that I there should be a pop-up menu
from the "get merchant waypoint" option on the radial. I get the "get
merchant waypoint" but no pop-up from it. Most website also mention
advertising IV wish as I recall is a pre-NGE talent.
I'm currently a lvl 38 tailor. I must be going wrong somewhere, can
anyone please help.
