what did you do to make it fit ? and what is the strip main thing you are talking about
....Replying to....

After the assets are loaded, there is still enough free space to store the discarded level and the executable. On page 40 of the user guide there is an explanation on how much memory is usable. We can store data from 0x80090000 to 0x801fff00. The last file, NY.TIM, is stored at 0x800f8c40. Adding its size in bytes, the next available address is 0x800ffc90. 0x801fff00 0x800ffc90 space left. Theres almost 1 megabyte of free memory after the last tim. Thats enough for the exe and more levels. When adding more files, remember to update the memory address on your makefile, on the line that says LINKER. Maybe the problem was that your exe was overwriting the last level. It is updated on the makefile I uploaded. This address should be the loading address of the last file + its size. You also had the strip line commented on your makefile, I ran it manually. It removes unnecesary data from the exe for the final version making it smaller.

I dont, because everyone also includes the people that wrote the compilers and documentation and computer os and such,

Once you turn on your pc there is millions involved in every coding project including the teachers from school that taught me the fundamental.math needed, so i have a hierarchy of importance,

my license agreements, collabs and good friends

Because once you have learned something that new found knowledge is now yours unless there is a legal or license agreement (which his why you dont need to credit the school you learned it from)

Now if someone offered a text file i can copy and paste with all the credited people from net yaroze then Im down to paste, no problem with me

I think the common thing to do is credit anyone that has been spoken (or via text) about the game while in development, thats why they are massive these days.

so asking someone a question online, that person is in the credits, usually in a thank you... but they werent directly involved... its safer to have more on the credit then to not include

man, you are a machine!
---------------

@mike.garcia#0 - 2024-02-06 22:55
I would leave them at 10 levels as a demo, then make the real game into a commercial thing, thats my 2c
---------------

@aionmagan#0 - 2024-02-06 22:57
i would, but i dont think i have the passion to make commercial games to be honest, plus a 1 man dev team isnt really all that fun unless you are sharing with someone the progress and such
---------------

@mike.garcia#0 - 2024-02-06 23:01
I would recommend doing it, even if its just $1 game, just so you can say youve done it, besides, it looks polished, you just have to spend a few weeks on new levels/enemies/music
---------------

@mike.garcia#0 - 2024-02-06 23:02
I was considering doing it for yarmico1/2, start on itch, if it makes $100, then put it on steam, if it makes 500, put it on switch
---------------

@aionmagan#0 - 2024-02-06 23:04
thats a really good idea actually, i may keep it in mind if i try to make a commercial game
