I have a problem,

My neighbour is dumping garbage in my city, and i produce it myself too, so
i build an incinrator, quite a big landfill and a recycling center. The
landfill is only 10% full, and the incinarator doesn't work at full power,
but i still get messages that there's garbage everywhere in my city, and
that i can't handle it. All the structures have roads, water and
electricity, so that should be the point.....

And BTW, where can i find all the charts about m city??????

1. I know it may seem obvious, but do they all have road access?
2. Charts can be found under the Adkust and Review button (on the right,
second one from the bottom. Then click on the View Data button (bottom of
the sub menu). Graphs and charts are the icons at the bottom of the View
Data box; maps are the other icons.

Tim :-)

You might want to turn *off* "flora" and "zoned buildings" layers and
then rotate your view around the landfill area. Sometimes tiles appear
to be connected when there's actually a change in elevation that you
can't see from a particular vantage point - turning-off the surrounding
structures & trees & rotating the view helps you spot it (voice of
experience <g>).

All landfill tiles must be directly beside another landfill tile, which
is beside another, etc. all connected directly to tiles that are beside
a road or railroad. If "\" is an elevation change, "L" is a landfill
tile and "R" is a road/railroad, then:

LLLLLLL
LLLLLLLLR
LLLLL

Will work, but:

LLL\LLL
LLL\LLLLR
LLL\LL

Will not work (hope that posted OK).

BTW, I've just run into a similar problem. I have a mini-city with a
deal to purchase garbage and almost no landfill (maybe 6 tiles) - but 4
incinerators, 2 are at maximum, 1 just above 100 cubic meters and the
4th unused. And, the ticker tells me "spring cleaning/excess capacity",
"running out of capacity" and a neighbor offers to buy my trash - one
message right after the other - VERY irritating !!!

Does anybody have a "cheat code" to let me fire these blasted
"advisors"???

Information about garbage is displayed with a pie chart in a sub-window of
the charts pop-up. If you open up the main charts information window (I
forget the name of the button but its on the right side and second up from
the bottom I believe) and then select the little pie chart graphic in the
lower left corner of the window. On the next window that pops up, select
garbage (the last choice on the list). You should see a pie chart that will
tell you how much garbage is produced and how much of that total is going to
different places such as incinerators or landfill (or piling up on streets).

If this pie chart says that NO garbage is "collecting in streets" then what
you have is old garbage laying in your streets from before you built your
incinerator or whatever. You can clean up that leftover garbage by
increasing your expenditures on ROADS in your budget window.

If the pie chart says that garbage IS "collecting in streets" then what you
need is more garbage processing facilities (or less garbage!). Also, once
you build new facilities, the game simulation will not register this fact
until the clock/calendar turns over to the following month.
