Hi

I installed Simcity3000 on a XP pc pentium 4 and the scrolling of the
map is way to fast. Any ideas?

THanks

I recently bought a new Linux machine, and desecrated my old Linux
machine by installing Windows XP on it. So for the first time In
several years I've got a place to play all my old Windows games. I just
re-started playing SimCity 3000, and I'm running into scrolling
problems, too. I seem to remember (though I could be mistaken) that the
screen is supposed to scroll if you move the cursor sufficiently close
to one of the window borders. That doesn't work for me - is it working
for you? I get around by using the arrow buttons on my keyboard.

However, if I drag-and-drop to build something , and it happens to be
too close to a border, the screen does scroll - while I'm dragging! I
found this out while placing some surface water - it made many parts of
my city much prettier than before, but not the ones I had intended. It
was very expensive. The "flood" wiped out a lot of trees and zones.
Very annoying!

HI To scroll you are suppose to right click and drag . I was also
trying moving to the edges but that does not work.

I still however have a problem with the speed that it is scrolling by.

Good luck

By increasing resolution helped me with the scrolling problem.
