I just got this game yesterday, and it doesn't work. I can install it and
everything, but when I go to run it (after restarting my PC in DOS) it
says that the cd isn't in the CD drive even though it's in there. Did anybody
else who has/had this game experience this problem, and is there a way to
fix it? I'd contact Gametek, but they're not around anymore, so I'n
running out of options. I've always wanted this game
and it would suck to have to send it back. Any help is appreciated.

I never play games on my pc... ever... but... Do you have to restart in
MS_Dos mode? Couldn't run the executable from a command prompt - click Start
| Run enter Command, navigate to the appropriate .exe and run it? If you do
have to restart in MS Dos mode, I think you've got to add command lines for
your CD drive into config.sys

Am I far off?

This is why I don't play games on my PC.

This is off topic.

Hey, Pendragon. I've seen you post a few times, and I was just wondering if
you got your handle from The Diary of a Drug Fiend.

Thanks,
Tyler

I don't know so much about Super Turbo but Super on PC was easier to start
by setting up a shortcut in Windows, then again this might not work with ST.

Hope that helps,

Ian

Hey there,

In answer to your question, I got my nick from the Marvel comics, Knights of
the Pendragon, back in my comic reading youth in the early 90s. My taste in
books isn't that great, with me just picking up a sci-fi book every once in
a while.

Did you remember to load the DOS CD-ROM drivers?

Yeah....

If you type d: does it go to D:\ or not???

You need a disk that came with your computer or CD ROM drive that will
instal the drivers for you (it should read something like 'CD ROM
Drivers')...

Just pop it into the a: and start up your computer...

But try running the game in MS DOS PROMPT first....

Make sure you have DOS drivers loaded for your CD-ROM. If you can't read your
CD-ROM in a pure DOS mode, you won't be able to play the game. 9 times outta
10, you should have DOS drivers with your CD.

If you DO have DOS drivers loaded, try doing a DIR of your CD-ROM drive BEFORE
you play.
