Are any of the SFIII games available for a console?
I heard someone mention that SFIII is available for the Saturn, but it
sounded like crazy talk.

Knight
(liked Ibuki in pocket fighter and would like a *real* SF game with her)

Not yet. SF3 has been rumoured/announced for Dreamcast, tho. I'm not sure
which version it is - I'd guess 3rd strike, but they may stick SF3 and 2i
in there as well if they are feeling charitable.

ObSF:
Played some 2i recently, picked Yun cos the guy chose Akuma to kill my
Alex. I have a new favorite annoying tactic with him: Standard Divekick ->
robot -> Genei Jin combo, lunging fist juggles, standing forward to launch
as the combo ends. Instead of juggling with another lunging fist, juggle
with a jumping fierce. The guy lands on his feet in the corner, and you
land right next to him. Immediately tap down for an option select parry,
and then do the flip over throw into robot combo if he doesn't stick
anything out. If he does stick out a move, or does a wake up move, you
have a good chance of parrying it and you can go into your combo then.

Apart from that, nothing new...everyone seems bored of SF in the arcade -
KOF is getting more play at the moment. *sigh* Roll on 3rd strike...

Ibuki was good in pocket fighter, but I really did not like that jump in the
air knife thing. It just seems silly to me. She should have a ground knife
throw too. It is so obvious when she is going to throw knives. The ninja
thing is really old too. At least MK ninja's have sense of style and color
coordination, but Ibuki is like a big messof bundled cloth.
Pocket fight was a good idea, but the game was not very fun overall. I thought
it had the best endings though.... colorful and funny dialogue.
Building up super move power is something Capcom should think about doing more
often. It worked great in Gem Fighters and MSH.

Nope. I have heard about a SF III: Second Impact on Dreamcast, though,
but it could be a rumor, or maybe it could be nixed in favor of Third
Strike...

Nope the SF3 series takes up too much memory for the Saturn and PS. All the
frames of animations eat up the memory. Look what happened to Xm vs. Sf for PS.
