if you check out value america they have SFA3, MvC, and VF3 available to
buy. Doesn't even say PREORDER.
I called valueamerica up, they said most of their products that are up on
the web page ARE AVAILABLE and that rarely stuff that isn't available yet
can be posted as available even though you will end up preordering it.
I also asked value america how some of those DC games were available..
the representative said that those games are available, but just rare or
hard to find . Is it true that the US version of SFA3 , MvC, and VF3 are
available in parts of the US? I heard in MN MvC was out..
anybody have any info?

Did you ask them if these CDs were the US versions?

I just called the guys at VA and they told me they were indeed
AMERICAN versions of the games, even Marvel and VF3 which is really good
because I don't even see these games at my local BB and CC, so take for
what it's worth.

I called them up again. A representative talked to her manager and the
manager's explanation was that they get special promotions and releases
DIRECTLY from the manufacturer (being Capcom in SFA3 and MvC's case).
It would only be a 2 week advance in MvC's case.. maybe a month or so or
advancement in SFA3's case.

It's not highly unreasonable considering the game is most definitely
finished by now.. the last month or so of a game is dedicated towards
proper distribution and advertising.

I'll keep you guys posted as to whether I get the US versions or not.. i
doubt imports would go for $42-$44, not to mention VA isn't that kind of
a place (not a game speciality store). And imagine how many customers
would be pissed at getting imports which won't even work on their US
Dreamcasts when the website advertises them as being US. I should be
getting them next week.
