Oh jeez, where do you people get these bullshits from? With X-MEN VS SF
being a Saturn Exclusive and SF EX 2 being Saturn Exclusive!! Just what
is your problem Saturn owners??!?!

X-MEN VS SF will be coming on the PSX, but it'll be late coming. I can
live with that, ok? And as for SF EX, you can't have it. This is a PSX
exclusive. The Saturn is not capable of generating a polygon frame rate
as good as the PSX which is why it's not on the Saturn.

That's why it took so long to get RESIDENT EVIL on the Saturn.

And as for other future titles - Say no more!!

Ok, bye people.

SS may not be able to do a 100% port, but Capcom may still do a SS SF EX
later. Say, SS is definitely no match for a Model-2 machine, but there
are plenty of Model-2 games ported to SS.

ok here's the deal. Capcom Japan are keen on moving into the 3D fighter
market, however System 12 is not nearly powerful enough for the next year
or two and development costs would be astronimical for them (not to mention
the prolonged research period). the big rumour from overseas at the moment
is that Sega will be licensing Model 3 hardware for Capcom; to produce a 3D
Spawn game that will be released to co-incide with the movie premiere in
japan. catch is, for the use of the technology, Sega want Capcom to make a
port of SFEX Plus Alpha for the saturn. no idea concerning SFEX 2, but i would
assume that it would be developed by Arika and not Capcom themselves anyway..

i guess X-Men:COTA was late in coming too, according to the release listings
that you must follow. of course game companies tell bullshit. you can only
really be sure once Capcom officially announce a product at a press conference
in japan, because as far as i know, Capcom America don't make games..

>That's why it took so long to get RESIDENT EVIL on the Saturn.

there is more to the game industry, than what you read in magazines. some
people are in the business of making systems, and some people are in the
business of making games. do you understand? as for SFvsXM for psx, the
recent change in 2D game policy from SCEI themselves should give you your
answer right there. smoke and mirrors..

You stupid. Do you think PSX can handle X-MEN vs SF? Even Saturn
needs an additional RAM cart for that! BTW, everybody knows X-MEN/MSH
vs SF would be SATURN EXCLUSIVE!!!

Also, there will be RESIDENT EVIL 2 for SATURN!!! (According to Capcom
Asia Web site!!!)

Please, please tell me REAL, OFFICIAL and CONFIRMED stuff, but not
something you dreamed last night.

This little flame war is none of my business, I just wanted to say YOU
OWN A TURBO GRAPHIX 16!!! Wow, I thought I was the only one in the
world. Hey, I heard that a person can buy some sort of "arcade"
adapter for their Turb16 and then they could buy some "arcade" Turbo16
games, like SF2:CE, is this true. I think it is, but I'm not sure on
the specifics of the hardware and games. I sold my machine a long time
ago, it was a _good_ machine, but no one supported it. A lot of good
RPG games came out for the TurboDuo (a Turbo16 with CD-ROM) but I
don't think Capcom supported Turbo16. Turbo16 did have potentional,
but it was never fullfilled, the SNES and Genesis squashed it dead.
Kind of like what's happening to the Saturn, which is a good machine,
but was handicapped from the start of the fight. Sorry Saturn guys, I
love the Saturn more then PSX, but the PSX is generally superior in
overall hardware specifications. : (

your system.
Where is WCW VS WORLD on the Saturn? Where is Lost World? Where is Final
Fantasy 7?
Where is SF EX? Where is War Gods? Where is Cheesy? Where is Dynasty
Warriors?
Hell I could go on forever...

I think my post said Game Fan magazine(look in the Other Stuff section in
the back of the mag). So if you disagree with my post you should have
e-mailed Game Fan. I just calls em' how I sees em'.

ACTUAL PRINTING IN SEPT 97 GAME FAN PAGE 122:

CAPCOM & SEGA
There's a really strange rumor going round
that a special version of Street Fighter EX might
be coming to Saturn sometime next year. I know
it sounds strange, but it is said to have some-
thing to do with a deal between Capcom and
Sega regarding Capcom using Sega's model 3
hardware for SFEX2! Capcom recently
announced that Darkstalkers 3, Marvel Super
Heroes vs. Street Fighter, X-Men vs. Street
Fighter, and Street Fighter 3 will all be Saturn
EXCLUSIVES and will make use of the all new 4
meg RAM cartidge to be released in Japan.

Seriously, calm down with this crap... First of all, this isn't the
group for it. Second of all, when it comes down to it, system choice
comes down to what games you want to play... I'm happy with just
having 2d fighters and Virtua Fighter, thank you very much. Seeing as
how this is a newsgroup for a 2d fighter series, I find it a bit odd
that you even mentioned the 2d fighter thing as a detriment.

Replace the words Final Fantasy 7 with SF3,SFEX2,SFA3, or SFCollection and
it would read like this.

Hey guys, they're game systems not SHRINES. Loosen your collars a bit. If
you try to play the machines without games in them neither system is any
fun. So play the games, not the systems. They both have great
games(although PSX has mor great games). I can say this because I own both.

All 3D Fighting games that suit my needs kick. What's the problem with

entertainment? Jeez!! A five year old won't have much of a problem

Lost World? If

I would. I actually thought the movie was cool and so was the game. Not
because of the graphics, because the gameplay that was on offer. The
movie has the potential for a good game.
It's like you want to buy a game called "FACE/OFF"? Or even "AIR FORCE

And don't forget the awesome Saturn Bomberman... ^_^ One of the best
reasons for owning a Saturn. So I wouldn't say Saturn has nothing but
Capcom games...

It's a shame this guy doesn't like the Saturn... he's missing out on a lot
of good games. Too bad that incredible bias he has on the Saturn prevents
him from sharing our joy. :P

I have no problem saying Playstation is better than saturn, but
that's mainly because Sega of America sucks. If you look at all the
import games available that SoA has turned down it's unbelievable.
If you look at all the exclusive 2-D and 3-D games in Japan, a saturn is
more than worth owning if you already have a psx.
Still Last Bronx and VF3 just kick EX's sorry ass though.
