There is something I miss from some of the older Street Fighters, something
I'm not sure I've seen done since, something that may have already been
beaten to death in this newsgroup. This thing does not have an effect on
gameplay, but was a nice reward for a hard hit to the stomach. I miss the
vomit.

I think Capcom should bring the vomit back. There are a lot of
hyper-violent fighting games on the market, but most of the violence in
these games is overdone to the point of being ridiculous. Puke is a more
realistic, less offensive potrayal of the type of violence found these sorts
fight, at least compared to the 26 skulls, 13 pelvises, 84 femurs, and
buckets of blood in MK (post MK2). How satisfying is it to hit a character
with such force that he vomits on himself? Very.

I know bringing back the puke wouldn't really affect gameplay, but it would
be nice. It might also attract some gamers that are more into the violence
thing, though I'm not sure that would be a completely good thing.

<snip - Sorry, but I think you guys get the drift of the original post>

hehehehehe.... I haven't noticed that it's gone, but personally, I think I
liked the vomit a lot better then little "explosions" that you get today.
The vomit wasn't as distracting. Personally, it mightn't be a bad idea if
vomiting was made into a special movie. It'd make an interesting move for
either Dan or one of the ladies (or maybe even for Honda). :')

Cheers,

Ka.

Yeah! I don't know why I'm agreeing but it's probably more or less to do
with the fact that she's a babe. I think she up there with Gillian Anderson
as the thinking man's pin up girl. A purely sexist comment, but fact is,
girls have been getting away with comments like that for years. :')

If Ms. Flockhart was reading this, this might be her response.

Would she even be visible in a 2D game?
