The invisible throw... that trick is the hardest Guile trick to pull off and
I -still- can't do it, no matter how many times I tried.
There are numerous posted ways of how it is done... such as charge back for
a sonic boom, and then move toward, then roundhouse and fierce nearly at the
same time, fierce quickly after roundhouse. Another variant is to charge
back, move toward, then back again, and then roundhouse and fierce. Either
way, I still haven't pulled it off... hard to do. Usually when I try to pull
it off, I always end up doing the "statue" glitch. *sigh*
Well, there are lots of other fun tricks though that you can try, although
the invisible throw is probably the one you really wanna get ^^
Free sonic boom:
Throw an opponent with a strong throw, and whatever direction you are facing
after the throw, repeatedly hit a punch button and as soon as you recover
from throw animation you'll throw out a sonic boom w/o the need of charging.
The statue glitch:
Charge back, then move toward, and hit roundhouse so that you are close to
your opponent, then hit fierce. You will do the what I call the "Zero-G"
kick (his upside-down kick), and then once you recover, you will be frozen!
From this position you'll be vulerable to low attacks, and you can only get
out of this by doing a flash kick.
Flash kick glitch:
I don't know the official name people call this glitch... but anyway:
Perform a strong throw and immediately charge down for a flash kick. The
moment you recover from animation and before your opponent lands from the
throw, move up and press kick for a flash kick. Some strange stuff happens
to Guile, like he's warping up and down the screen or something (this
happens on Callus at least, I'm not too sure about the arcade.)
Handcuff:
This is a favorite. Best done when opponent is dizzy. Charge down next to
your opponent for a flash kick. Then move up, and on the way up, hit strong
punch and then immediately hit forward kick. You may have to slighty curve
your motion on the joystick on the way up (or if you're on Callus and using
the keyboard, quickly hit away, then up) in order to make him do the strong
throw. Once he throws, and if you hit forward at the right time, then after
his throw animation he'll have his opponent in a stasis lock... he'll look
hurt and be attached onto you. He even moves with you while you jump, walk,
etc. But you can't hurt him... and you'll have him like his until you do the
invisible throw (which is hard) or until time runs out. If time runs out
while in handcuff, the game permanently gets into stasis lock until the
machine is reset (unplugged and replugged...). So it's easy on Callus cuz
you can just hit F10. I myself put a machine in stasis lock at an arcade cuz
I failed to do the invisible throw... and left just whistling to myself ^^
There are lots of other tricks on classic SF2, like resetting the machine
and stuff, but I forgot how to do those... there IS a Guile glitch FAQ out
there, I'm pretty sure you can find it at http://www.gamefaqs.com
Well good luck trying to get the invisible throw to work... if you do,
you're incredible ^^

well its kinda hard to explain but its like charging for a sonic boom
but right before you hit you hit forward , hit roundhouse.the trick
about this is it is not only b, f like a sonic boom but it is charge b
then forward, then back immediately. but before you are about to tap
toward, hit roundhouse, and right as youre going to hit back(after you
have just tapped toward) hit the fierce punch button......damn this
sounds confusing but i cant find a better way fo saying it. so on the
end its like flamming from roundhouse to fierce if you know what a
flam is. good luck

To do the 'Magic Throw' of Guile, you need to know what makes it happen.
I'm going to explain another Guile glitch first, the 'freeze'.
While playing Guile, walk backwards. Have your buddy (do this against a
buddy, not the CPU) jump. When he jumps, while still holding backwards,
press roundhouse. You'll do the Guile 'upside down' kick. Then, before
you land, throw a sonic boom. Guile will be coming down from the kick
and land in a very statuesque pose.
You have just interrupted the excessive upside down kick animation with
a fierce sonic boom and gotten a glitch. (Throw a razor kick (aka flash
kick) to get out of it.)
The guile freeze is only doable when you interrupt a backwards-moving
upside down kick with a fierce sonic boom, which, due to the length of
the animation, is extremely easy to do.
The 'magic throw' is a very similar move. It is merely interrupting a
forward-moving upside down kick with a fierce sonic boom. However, the
timing is much tighter due to the fact that a forward-walking sonic boom
has a tiny window.
You can practice this 'skill' fairly easily. Simply practice
forward-walking sonic booms and razor kicks (the timing is the same).
Charge, take a step forward, THEN throw the sonic boom. The step forward
is important, if you just throw the boom without the step, your timing
will never get you a magic throw. After you can get a sonic boom to come
out reliably after a single step forward, you are ready for the next
step... adding the upside down kick.
This should seem as easy as simply charging back (you have to be charged
to throw the sonic boom) then stepping forward, pressing roundhouse to
start your upside down kick, and then fierce to interrupt with the sonic
boom, but a couple of things get in the way. The first is the timing of
the upside down kick, you MUST be walking forward, if you are still
charging back, you get a freeze, if you are in neutral, you get a
different kick (the mule kick). Then the timing, the button presses are
almost simultaneous, as the window on the sonic boom is so tight after
taking a step forward.
There is one other caveat. Guile must be able to throw the upside down
kick. The range on this is about 1/2 the screen, if the opponent is
farther away, he will do the standing spinning roundhouse. However,
there is a further caveat: Guile will ALWAYS do an upside down kick
after a whiffed razor kick. Use this to your advantage.
The magic throw is, as you know, the only way to have an opponent get
out of the handcuffs. For those who don't know, the handcuff is a strong
throw interrupted by a forward (medium strength) razor kick. You charge
for a razor kick, move the joystick to towards, press strong to start
the throw, then finish by going to up towards and pressing the forward
button. The timing is tougher than the freeze, but much easier than the
magic throw. Note that if you fail to magic throw your opponent, the
game will lock up when time runs out.

Yep, he can do it anywhere on the screen, so long as pressing towards
and roundhouse together get you an upside down kick. Normally this means
about 1/3 the screen away or so, BUT the upside down kick always comes
out against a jumping opponent, against a vega on the wall, or after a
whiffed razor kick (possibly a connecting razor kick too), and a few
other times.
For a truly evil 'tactic' try this.
Charge down-back for both razor kick and sonic boom.
Roll the joystick to back, then up-back, and press short for the baby
razor kick. You will do the short razor and immediately land... the
beauty
You haven't moved out of back. You are STILL CHARGED for a sonic boom,
even though you just threw a razor kick. You can immediately hit towards
+ punch and throw a sonic boom... OR since youwill always upside down
kick after a whiffed razor, you can step forward and magic throw. From
anywhere on the screen. Evil.
