If you have the CPS2 roms and have used the QSound
emulator you may have heard a song in Jap in the roms
of the Arcade version of Marvel Vs Capcom.

Where in the game is it played, because I have never heard
it before.

There are 2 versions of Roll's song. The Japanese version (with the singing
voice) is only in the Japanese version of the game. The version with just the
instruments is in the USA/European version.

Um.....where did you get this info? Because at 3 arcades that I go to, there is
most definitely a singing voice in the backround, and I'm pretty sure that all
of them didn't get the Japanese version of the game.

Nope. The American version has the singing voices too.

I got that song, and it is great. But I thought it was off of a CD compilation of
MvC songs or something. Not from the game's rom itself! Its also surprising that
the actual game music has singing in it, never seen that in a game. The music
from that song probably took a lot of rom space cause it wasn't just some dingy
MIDI track. Its surprising Capcom would of done that.

Luis.

I happen to own a Japanese arcade version of Marvel Vs. Capcom for a Capcom
System 2 setup, and have tested the sounds tens of times under the test menu.

I've noticed one track (at code 001F) that has Roll's music WITHOUT the singing
voice.

At code 0014, however, is the track with the singing voice.

Just an interesting thing how Capcom had 2 versions of the song. The one
without the voice sounds pretty good too.

Excuse me....

I DO own my B board.

For proof, hit the TEST button on the side of the CPS2 A board, and go to menu
#3 (the SOUND TEST).

Select code 001F.

That is ROLL'S music WITHOUT the singing voice.

YOU my friend are full of shit.
