Off the top of my head, here are some of mine......
2P Colored Akuma in MSF: Don King Akuma
2P Captain America in MSF: Captain Ireland
2P U.S. Agent in MSF: Captain Italy
Wolvie's Fatal Claw finisher: The Triple-X
Chun-Li's 1000 Burst Kick: The Vega Killer (since this is how she defeats Vega
in the anime)
Ken's battle cry before doing a super: Eat this! (In SSF2T, before doing a
Shoryureppa, I find myself doing the "Eat this!" for him, since, well, he
doesn't say it back then)
OK, your turn.....

Ken/Ryu- Gay boy 1, and Gay boy 2: We hate these folks around here for the most
part because anyone who plays either of these two tends to play DAMNED BORING
especially in the vs titles.
Zangief- Well back in the day we called him, Beef.
Urien- Mr. Thong with an attitude.
Chun Li- Simply put "The bitch"
Jeffry (vf2)- The Big Black Guy
Eddy (Tekken3) The Black Guy, or my main meing
Bryan Fury (Tekken3) Nazi
Akuma- humph
Akiras Body check (vf) Body Humph
Akiras one handed palm (vf) Hand Humph
Akiras dashing elbow (vf) Humph
Tekken 1-2=VF ripoff
SF players= SF Bastards, hehe, that's until SF3:2ndImpact came around I
actually like that game heh.
Dan= The excuse. People seem to play Dan and use him as an excuse as to why
they lost....just my perception.
Dhalsim= sliding turtle bare chested homo...
Blackheart- 8' chickenboo; simply because of his play style he seems to
constantly be on the defensive so we think he's really chickenboo trying to be
the son of Mephisto. "I'm telling you HE'S A CHICKEN!"
Sarah (vf)= heh, BITCH
that's nuff' suddenly this seems pointless
Gramps.
> 2P Captain America in MSF: Captain Ireland
Booger America or Cap'n Snot. (I dunno... he just reminds me of the snot clone from the Tick)

Ready... Set.... MASH!!!!
Lessee...
FAB: "Ow..... ow...... ow" <deadpan... done with each hit... really pisses people off>
Z's DFAB in MSF: "Going up!"
Gambit's Projectile: "Credit Card!"
Anything Sabretooth does: "GRAAAAAAAAA!"
Anything Wolverine does: <sound he makes when throwing them>
Anything Cyclops does: "BEHOLD!" <in the most effeminite(sp?) voice possible>
But I'm not bitter... :)

stupid stuff… Lately, when I begin playing any game (MSF, XSF, SFA2G or

Akuma). No, I am not stupid, I only do this when I'm playing my friends.
My friend rented SFA2G a couple of weeks ago, and we finally got to see

- SS2 HAnzo in white outfit : Virgin ninja
I'm sure there's a lot I'm forgetting. Damn we made up some weird shit

used by people back home, but this is what it was while I was active
there. SF got the lionshare of all slang, and all other games were just
variations of stuff that came from SF2. There were a few new terms
created for SS, but not that many.

That's all I can remember, but I'm sure there are more. Oh, and as far
as funny SF saying and such go, the one I'm most fond of is the term
"eggbeater", which basically describes someone who can't land 360s
consistently just wrapping the stick around in a circle as fast as
possible. I have to do this on D-pads, so I beat a friend of mine who
had never heard this term before and he nearly laughed his guts out. I
remember saying something like "Ooooh! Check out the good eggbeater
action! That one was straight from the kitchen!", and that was enough to
set him off for a few minutes (I suppose it was funnier then since it
was after 2AM, so cut me some slack). Anyway, the more good SF terms I
hear, the better.

Interesting. The term eggbeater was one I got from EGM - that's what
they called CE Ken doing his ROundhouse HK a fraction of a second before
his opponent got up, so that they stood up into the back of the HK and
got kicked up in their face royally. It worked best on Balrog, Bison,
Chun Li and, to a somewhat lesser extent, Vega.

Spinning Beat counts now? Then again, she does do three attacks and it's like 7
ticks of block damage... Rocket Uppercut has one little flaw though, you can
block the first two uppercuts and parry the third to avoid losing by Ghetto
Bus. Of course only parry-crazy people like me find things like that :P

Actually, there was a guy who looked like Sagat. But his name is Samchay.
And he never said anything like "Baked Potato". That misquote came from
the caucasian character who resembled Final Fight's Cody. His name is Ray
and he was the one who had the Washington DC background. He also had this
thunderbolt logo on his t-shirt that you could knock off after a certain
amount of hits.
I had a misquote faq file from two years back with about 200+ fighting

Okay, here's one for old times sake:

My ears picked up 3 things: "Tall F@g", "Golf Bag", and "Door's Far" for
this move in SFA2.
Rose's Soul Reflect, which supposedly sounds like either 'Reflect' or
'Deflect' sounded more like "He bled!" the first time around.
Then of course, there's the classic "Dragon Poop" from Adon's Jaguar

SSF2X/T ken in yellow - banana ken, seem to win more with banana ken, a

one of T. Hawks winning stances: "I throw snot at you"
DeeJay: happy ass (always smilin')
Blanka's double-hit headbutt: the naps (as in nappy headed freak)

E. Honda's D+MK in midair: butt smash
E. Honda's squeeze: Lovin'
Guile's Flash Kick: zip ya' lip
Zangief's SPD: Three-sixty or "Up there, past them tree's" (went well with
his one winning pose)
Vega: The Sissy (girlish scream, had to use a weapon)
ticking: hit-ta-throw (was the only term used at my arcade for a *very*
long time)
Akuma: Psycho-bastard

...
I've always voted for Nooooooooo, SHOTOS!!! <G>
It's 'IKUZE!'. But I'm glad someone else thought he was shouting 'This is IT!'
It STILL sounds more like 'This is IT!' to me, no matter how many times I
tell myself the contrary ^_^
Anyways, while I'm here...

Brown-gi Ryu - Bayou Rye-oo
Adon - JAGA TOOOOO!
Chun Li - Air Chun, Toe-tapper, Da Bitch.
Rose's Soul Throw - DORK SPIN!
Shinkuu Gadoken - The CheezeBall (From the number of times I've thrown it
just to tick off block damage ^_^)

Shippu Jinrai Kyaku - Ken's got HAPPY FEET!

There are others...but I can't remember them right now. Count your
blessings ^_^

Regarding the archive... that was awesome stuff and I wouldn't mind
seeing it return. Perhaps we could see some KOF'97 & SF3 misquotes in
it if it does.
Ken's SF3 intro: "I got big nuts!"
Eiji in KOF'95, one of the win poses: "Zeus!" (oh no, look out, he's
calling the wrath of the Greek Thunder God onto the loser)
And one more for Eiji, BTW:
Zantetsu Ha: "Don't take it so hard"
Chris in KOF'97:
"Ue da yo" (above you) -> "Way to go!"
I haven't played KOF'97 yet (lame arcades don't have it here) but I
could imagine that MQ coming from this one.
SS1 Hanzo:
"Yami ne messeyo" -> "'Jo name is Phil!"
MK Trilogy:
"Bubble Gum!" (one of Raiden's voices in N64 MKT for the torpedo,
RFLMAO!)
Iori KOF'96:
"Gwoooo.....shine!" -> "Oh shit!"
"Doushita!" -> "You suck!"
Kensou:
Chokyudan: "Don't do it like that!" or "Don't do like that!"
Robert's KOF'96 taunt:
"Dosvedanya" or "Don't understand 'ya"
Leona KOF'96:
"Kill!" -> "Q!"
Kasumi's intro, KOF'96:
"Ei, onegai shimasu" -> "Hey, would you like some more?"
Mr. Big's uppercut in KOF'96
"Beorei shimasu" -> "Hey Maurice...(something)"
Laurence Blood's "Bloody Spin":
"Lucky Slime!" (FF2, FFS) or "Lucky Sleaze!" (Realbout Special)
And...this isn't a misquote, BUT...
BTW, I thought Krauser's "I'll chisel your gravestone...sleep well"
was cool in FFS. In Real Bout Special, he sounds rather apathetic,
like he's sick of saying it. Ridiculous!
I'd rather have had the "Let's burn it up!" voice ported over from
KOF'96 or the original Krauser intro voice from FFS.

Also, Ryu evidently wants a rematch with Ken over that whole WW2
thing a half century ago. When he does the Hurricane Kick, it sounds like
"I'd like to fight the war again!" in the original SF2.

So I'm *not* the only one who thought she was saying that! Don't
forget "Get back!" when she wins.
> Rose's Soul Spark = "Kurasawa!" (Think the long forgotten WCW wrestler)

In the SNES version of SF2, Honda said something like "Too Skui"
(?!) when he won. When my dad played, he kept saying it was "Oink, oink!"
World Heroes:
Jean: "Alma Mater!" (fireball thing)
Hanzo/Fuuma: "Fooled you, Ken!" (uppercut)
Street Fighter 3:
Ibuki: "Macarena!" (Kasumi suzaku)
"Hanzo!" or "Not so!" (Yoroi doushi)
"Bakaryou!" (win pose)
"Sure, didn'tcha know?" (win pose)

I don't think there's THAT much extra emphasis on it...

I don't like to cuss in posts... (not that much, anyway)

Yeah that too.

Equation? I just remember the "Hyaa, I'm, FAAAAAAT!" one where the shoe
explodes off her foot. "Hey, no dog"? Is that the Ghetto Bus super?

oh yeah. In Gem Fighter, it sounds like he says "Finahl.... Atomeek...
booty-ass! BASTARD!!!" He has an extra grunt in there.

Something in Japanese maybe? And what's Urine saying on that shoulder tackle?
Sounds like "FAHST!"

Maybe one of these years, who knows. :)
