Wasn't that the subtitle for the X-files movie?

Gotta remove that "takethis" stuff to reply.
Is this *really* the name of the game? BAAA-hahahahaha, classic!
"Third Strike," they couldn't have come up with a better title for
this piece of shite series. The joke continues.

Then again, they never learned with Alpha, did they.
Anyways I'm optimistic for 3rd Impact.
X-files title was different, it was "Fight the Future."

Rumor has it that there's a new character named "Fecies" in this one...
Cheers,
Ka.

Boris Yeltsin Vs. Zangief. My bets on Yeltsin. :')
Oh come on. 2nd Impact wasn't THAT bad (that is if you didn't play as Ibuki or
Akuma....)
And Hugo was just hilarious.....that corner infinite was pretty funny. "I CLAP,
I CLAP, YOU DIE!"
Yeah and having Mr. CSM as mid-boss with SA called final atomic smoke cloud,
the final boss will be no other than the cute E.T. shouting "NEED PHONE ! ME
CALL HOME !!". His SA will have his mothership crash land on his opponent. Wow
3rd Strike will be fun. :P

It seems that the only thing Capcom did with the Alpha's, is changing the
system of gameplay dramaticly with every Alpha release. That what sucked about
the Alpha series, you learn playing A1, and then comes A2 with CC's to destroy
what you learned before, same story for A3 and it's juggle system and VC's.
All the 3 Alpha's are different games, every new addition to the games ruined
the basic gameplay concept, and your forced to adapt to a newer style.
Some might think of this as change to avoid getting bored of playing. I agree
that we need change. But the basics have to remain the same, that's why I
like the SF2/SF3 series more than the Alpha's. Think about this I can play
ST/2i and learn the basics and then go and play HF/SF3:NG even thou I never
played them. the basics strategies are the same. The Alpha's are messed up,
unless I play ARK (which didn't change that much from each update), for
example take Birdie. I can't play him like A1 in A2, and never can play him
in A3 like I did in A2/A3.
I just hope that 3rd Impact, Strike or whatever it will be called, fixes some
of the bad things about 2i (especially AKUMA!) and adds something extra for
the fun, not to mention new faces. Fingers crossed :)

Good point, but please explain what happened to Mortal Kombat. They more or
less just got worst and worst.
pphhhhhttttttt!!!!!! hehehehehahahahaha!!!! stop you're killing me.... oh
god, this is the kind of pick-me-up I need (just got another job rejection
and another maybe). *** sigh *** I bet the guys at Capcom is really sniffing
something. :')
I was hoping for an appearing by the ring worm man. That's one of the best
episodes, apart from the killer bees and the glow bugs one.
After so many letters and retorts, I've come to the basic conclusion that
all but about 5 people on this planet actually have something other than
put-downs to say about SF3 anything. It just isn't worth it.
Let the babies have their bottle.
Let the gameplay renovations (no matter how good or bad they may be) die,
to hell with it. We just really, deep down, want more of the same.
Otherwise people wouldn't be so ready to put SF3 down.
And hold SFZ3 in such high regard.

"After an eternity of channeling the spirits, I have found two fundamental
wrongs with humanity:
Mortal Kombat games and the people that play them."
You would think there is a reason for that now? While I will admit SF3
series had good graphics (cept for Elena), gameplay wise, it was the worst
fighting game Capcom had ever come up with. I won't rehash the old
arguments, but if 90% of the credible posters on this newsgroup agrees on
something, odds are pretty good that they have a valid point.

and SFZ3 was more of the same? We must have been playing different games.
While there is a segment of SF players out there that want more of the same,
nearly everyone on here agrees on one thing, we don't want crap in SF.
What are you, the lone voice of dissent, or something?
Everyone bashes the series because it's crap. Really. Plain and simple.
Please don't make me go over all of the games' bad points -- again.

i'm in agreement with the majority that sf3 has it's problems.
but i'm not of the opinion that the series is complete garbage.
the overwhelming majority feel that the 2 main problems are
the parry system and damage ratios. ( right? )
well, those 2 things could easilly be fixed in imo. they just need some
tweaking around with. i know i'm in the tiny minority of people who feel this
way, but i've yet to hear any
info. that totally confirms that the game cannot be fixed.
with the right modifications the game could be very good.
(IMO)
the graphics are unmatched, the features are somewhat innovative ( though some
do need fixing ), there are many new characters ( although they do need more ),
and the gameplay is completely different from previous SF's.
( making the game a very different kind of SF )
this is just how i personally feel, and i know i'm one of the few.
we'll just have to see.
peace
Nate ;-)
