Well...after my original post, and since hearing a plethora of arguments, I'm
going to come to a "few" conclusions.

1. This argument between who gets what money is silly. Alex won; there was no
7th tourney...so?????? The way everything was run, you all should have expected
that, knowing since Saturday that there would be no HF.

2. You know, complaining about who would do what in what games, you all should
be so lucky that an mk or ki was not there....those are "my" games...a tourney
with 3 sfs and 3 mks... = P

3. Now, I was majorly "robbed" in Alpha 2..at least for one more match....3
other matches went on in my bracket, and one of the Cannons asked me if my
opponent was from my hometown, I replied yes, and I still had to play him 20
minutes later...why? They were too lazy too pull Sirlin and Beasly off the
machines to fight me i guess....NO ONE MENTIONED THAT NOW DID THEY? I only got
to enter PacMan and Alpha 2, and I never even was apologized to by the Cannons
for their "mishap", but that's another story....I'll just leave you all with a
dose of Sunnyvale arrogance.
"Damn, I lost to a scrub" -Jason Nelson, after losing to my "scrubby" Charlie
in Vegas, the 3rd straight Sunnyvale player I played in a row, after my post on
my Alpha 3 "Sunnyvale" experience ....hmmmm, coinsidence?

Ummm...no one knew "the way everything was run" until they had already
showed up. It's not like they were expecting it. What they expected was
what was advertised.

Ummm...did you see MK advertised? No. Did we see VF and Top Skater?
Yes. See the difference?

Well, now you've mentioned it twice. I certainly hope you feel better.
For the record, here's what happened:

1) All four losers bracket matches were posted on the 4 FOOT bracket
sitting next to the SFA2 machine. You were matched against Jabarri
simply because we didn't know you guys were from the same area.

2) The three other matches were run.

3) Someone mentions that Wilson and Jabarri are from the same region.
Tony talks to Wilson to confirm.

4) There is some discussion, and people decide that it's unfair to "undo"
one of the matches that have already been won. So Wilson must fight
Jabarri.

There's no conspiracy here, as much as you'd like to believe so. There
should have unquestionably been a float. A mistake was made...live with
it. Jason Nelson lost to Julien because of this same error. The only
other solution was to undo their match and have Nelson vs. Jabarri and
Julien vs. Wilson.

No, it's not a conicidence. It was almost inevitable. There were next to
zero local LV players in the tournament -- the bracket was made up almost
entirely of LA and North. CA people. Oh, and the brackets always
drawn up by someone who was not playing in that tournament. I believe Apoc
drew up the Alpha2 bracket. Please sling your conspiracy theories in his
direction, not mine.

How this happened has already been explained twice. I'm not going to
go over it again. It was a mistake; not a conspiracy. The tournament
was incredibly under-staffed. I went to Vegas mainly to have a good time
and meet with some net.personalities. When I arrived on Saturday, it
was obvious that Apoc needed some serious help if he was going to do
half of what he had planned on, so I volunteered to help run the
brackets. You cannont expect four people (myself, Apoc, Mike, and
Jason Nelson), to run 2 to 3 tournaments simultaneously in 100 degree heat
for 12 hours a day all weekend with 0 margin for error.

If you're looking for an apology, then I'm sorry you had to fight
Jabarri. I certainly didn't plan it that way and would never rig a bracket
for or against anyone. If you're looking for something to blame, then blame
the heat, the lack of organization, and the fact that there weren't enough
people to handle the load (even with volunteers like me and Nelson; who
really didn't plan on going to Vegas to run anything).

Are you really that paranoid? I had to fight Alex Valle my first match
in A2, and Kris G had to fight his 1st 2 matches in 2i against Valle and
Choi. These things just happen.

Ok, I wasn't in the tournament. But I don't understand why people are
complaining that they had to play Valle and Choi for their first matches. If u
entered the tournament, u should have known that u would face them sooner or
later, so stop complaining!!!! Sheesh ,it's not like u had a chance to win
anyway!

money wise, I did....to place in top 4, I did...you must need to go buy a clue
at the local Qwik-E-Mart...go ahead and do so, mind your own business, web boy.

hold on a sec... is this a popular sentiment about playing in
tournaments? do people try to _avoid_ playing the best players there
like valle? for the record, i'm now stating that i _want_ to be paired
up against the best players there (unless they're from my region) no
matter what in any future tournaments, for the record. just throwing
this out there to those that make up brackets....
