nope. is it a crime to remember a fellow SFer who was near and dear to us,
instead of only posting strategies about video games? I coulda swore that
people were more important that games....

No, what is getting out of hand (and is very out of line as well) is the fact
that a completely insensitive ASSHOLE like you has no respect for the people
that might be mourning the loss of a great, great friend. Tee was like a
brother to me, one of the only people in this world that had my complete
respect and trust. It really hurts that you would say such a thing, but it
obviously means that you never had the good fortune to meet Tee...... all I
could say is that it's your loss man.

P.S. Scott, if you by any chance read this post, please E-Mail me. This is
Gabe. I need to talk to you, it's very urgent.

This guy has not said anything wrong and I address this to those of you
who feel he has. He simply asked a question. I did not know Tee. And I
am sorry for the pain that all of you feel. I lost my father when I was
four and have since, over 16 years, never quite gotten over it. Look at
this NewsGroup and this thread. A lot of you knew Tee and in all
fairness I think that if someone asks an innocent question, he should
not be called names. When Princess Dianna died did any of you get tired
of seeing it on the media? I did, because I didn't know her. If I tell
you that an officer here in Phoenix was recently killed in the line of
duty, would I recieve the same respect on this NG by posting it. I
would be told by some of you that it doesn't matter, so what, I didn't
know him. I agree that the loss of Tee, gathered from the responses is
a big one. To the SF community, his family and friends. What about
this. What if Protossuxnuts is actually a good friend of Tees and he
comes to this news group to try to escape and get lost in the games,
even though he links it with Tee. Like going to a restaurant that your
mother loved and finding peace of mind as the memories come back. He
might have in a moment of saddness, wished that the topic of Tee would
be laid to rest. That it is time to heal. I would say that he is
selfish for asking for that reason, but what if he thinks we will all
feel better about Tee when we can find a place of solice. Why not make a
shrine for him? There are planty of free website space available? What
about his family who must be hurting the most? The funeral costs might
be high, has anyone sent money in support? I do not doubt that many of
you loved Tee very much. If I had known him I probably would have too.
But to take out anger on a guy who did not declare his motives or
relationship to Tee is not right. We all mourn in our own ways. This
NG is a place where opinions are posted everyday. Its a right and since
content is not governed, it is an unchecked freedom. At the next
tournaments many of you might pledge the game to Tee's memory. Many of
you will feel him next to you helping you out. And many of you will feel
intimidated by all the players playing in the memory of one man. That
is natural and it will happen. I do not mean all of you. Those of you
who think I am insulting you in some way or Tee's memory I am not. I do
not want to come off like that because that is not what I feel.

If Tee is watching he would be proud that all of you care so much. He
would feel lucky and maybe inspired. He would want you to love him and
carry him with you for life. He would also want you to heal.

Things like this happen daily. I ask this. When the tears are gone and
the pain is dulled, think about what you would act like if you thought
of everyone as Tee, as a friend. Flames would burn out, relationships
would strengthen, understanding would develop and maybe one less life
will be taken because a guy you would normally be mean to you treated
like a friend and so he didn't go out that night and get drunk and have
a reason to commit a random act of violence.

May all of you and his family find peace in yourselves and your love for
him.

i do understand what you mean by letting it go but heres what we must
undrestand. thsi is a sf NEWS group. its news about sf which this is.
and Tee was a major part of the sfer scene. so i dont think that it
should be let go. but yes i agree that eventually it should. life cannot
be put on hold for much longer. ive missed 2days of work cause of all
this and i hope not to miss anymore. so when others compare this to
princess diana dying its out of our chain of interest cause it doesnt
pertain to us nor did it effect many, if not any of us. there was no
connection physically or emotionally. but w/ Tee, he was a guy we knew
as a streetfighter. we played him and most have met him.and not to many
have met princess diana. unless of course she was a streetfighter player
herself then she would be talked about in this newsgrpoup. understand
people?

rest in peace Tee! loveya kid!

as well as i did feel for you, so cant you see thats why ill give true
love, that comes straight from the heart & when we make the bond we will
