A3, EX2.....

Alright, finally stopped working 40 hrs/wk, so I had some free time.
Headed down to Pop's Arcade to play EX2 and A3. Got there, there was
NOONE on EX2/A3, but there was a LINE for MvC. (Stupid scrub
influence).....so I, of course, had to step up and beat them all at MvC
(Z/Hulk) until they quit and let me beat it. Heheheh....
So, then I played EX2, as Z, of course. Exact same moves as EX+@, with
the addition of the Green Glove. And I mean EXACT, down to body
position (probably used the same data....) Z's piledriver still looks
wrong, his Supers still look right, the Green Glove is dumb looking but
the ticking power is AWESOME! It requires almost nil timing
afterwards. The Asteroids after a FAB death are cool. The SPD is said
to do less damage. Less damage means: In EX+@ (on normal damage) 4
SPD's left them with no power bar showing. So, in EX2, they leave him
with 1 pixel of power showing.....big difference :^) They were right,
you almost always whiff the FAB after cancelling a Stomping,
stupidstupidstupid. Couldn't stand the idea of a good grappler >:^(
Good thing you can't whiff a Level 3 (I always only wasted 1 level....)
Shadowgeist is easy. I won the game on my first try, no problem.
Garuda as a last guy? Huh?
As for A3, I spent about 1.5 hrs at that....Zangief alone, of course.
The game was turned down so low I could barely hear the Major Counters.
Didn't do much with the juggles, though....and A-ism seems to be the
stupidest idea....useless....until the Next Big Screw Up, of course :^)
The FAB goes between the 2 SPDs too quickly, looks dumb. Damage rocks,
I almost wish it didn't, as it doesn't seem to be HARD to win either of
these games with Z. Also, though, I had people, PEOPLE, not the CPU,
jump out of the FAB *after* the Super flash....but the joysticks were
screwed (loose) so I hardly ever got normal SPD's.
Z fights Shin Bison ('least, I did) and he also has NO CHANCE. There is
no way to catch the guy! I fought him 3x, and managed to win one
round. Though the 'Slim player I saw fight him won :^(
He (Bison) countered the FAB (after the flash, again) with both the
Super-cool-as-hell-Psycho-Thing-of-Doom, and a no-charge Knee Press.
Didn't see Juni, Juli or Balrog. Did see Shadoloo-ism Chun-Li, but she
didn't last long enough to gain back even half a level of Super ^_^ Want
to see Shadoloo-ism Zangief :^)
More later, when I'm not running off 6 hrs sleep in the last 3 days :^)

They jump/duck/punch/kick/Super/special/throw attempt?
Block or Tech Hit, (if applicable,) then SPD/FAB.
They die? Laugh. Then whup the computer.

Well that seems funny to me, since I beat him the first time I played against
him with Zangief, and the damage and difficulty at my arcade is set at the
default, so don't say it's because the game's on easy. Just keep Air Pressing
into a few low jabs over and over again. If he tries to use the ugly-looking
super Psycho Crusher crap, just block it and do a FAB when he teleports back in
front of you (he has to). Bam. You've won. Big deal. I had more trouble with
Guy than with Bison.

That may be the problem, then. Our damage and difficulty are both on
the highest setting, which makes the arcade more $$, though it sucks for
players....
When I'd air press (body splash, you mean?) he'd ALWAYS whip out the
Psycho Death, and he seemed to get the level of Super back in about 10
seconds.
I didn't have a problem with Guy, he fell for the same thing he fell for
in A2: repeated jumping-toward body splashes :^P

Lord was with me last Friday because I got the Yeltsin loves Vodka dance
to cancel into a FAB AND IT CONNECTED! I think the key is that the guy's
gotta block, and you gotta be over him (think president/intern distance)
but once it connects, it's Sweeeet. :'P
