I'm stuck at the clock tower in RE3. It's the puzzle with three clocks and
you have to place three stones into the clocks to get the middle clock to
read the same as the other clocks. Anybody know how to solve this.

I think its random evry time you get to the puzzle, but heres some info i've
found

Painting 1 Painting 2 Painting 3

Obsidian: Back 2 hours Ahead 2 hours Ahead 4 hours
Amber: Back 3 hours Ahead 3 hours Ahead 6 hours
Crystal: Back 1 hour Ahead 1 hour Ahead 2 hours

Basically there is only 9 (3^3) combinations so you could write them down
and try them all!

I hate these bloody random puzzles!

You wait for the next one you get that'll be fun!

if this helps -
the left one is "the clock of the past"
the center one is "the clock of the present"
the right one is "the clock of the future"
in the past, the crystal ball is worth -1, the obsidean ball is
worth-2, and the amber ball is worth -3.
in the present, the crystal ball is worth +1, the obsidean ball is
worth+2, and the amber ball is worth +3.
this is a little tricky, but
in the future, the crystal ball is worth +2, the obsidean ball is
worth +4, and the amber ball is worth +6.
