I think I've been spoilt by checkpoints and auto saves - the remaster takes away those privileges and grinds you into the cold hard dust! I made a little video if you have five minutes to watch, it demonstrates these frustrations.. Fantastic remaster though! Its probably been about 20 years since I experienced the original..
