Has anyone noticed what happens to Helicopotors in Capcom Survival Horror
games??
-In RE1 there resced by Brad (okay) its a good ending
then in RE2, we find out Brad's a zombie.
-RE2, the helicopter crashes into the police station.
In the Hunk side game ending a helicopter (unnamed pilot) rescues him.
-Dino Crisis, the T-Rex, bites and destroys the helicopter
(In the 2 cool hydro foil boat ending the heroes escape. These were great
ending sequences to anyone whose seen it. Especially the one where Regina
captures the doctor one) ON the third ending the heroes escape on a helicopter
(not as cool as the boat sequences ending).
-RE3, Nemesis shoots down the helicopter.
-Bioharard Gun Survivor, the heroes escape on a helicopter.
Have I missed anymore helicopter scenes?? It doesn't seem so bad now that I've
analyzed it. However, it seems that at least 60 to 70% of the scenes have,
wrecked helicopters!

I don't think they actually hate them... but they are OBSESSED with them.

In fact, when I finished RE3, one of the first thoughts was "oh great...
ANOTHER helicopter ending."
That's right... RE3 had TWO helicopter endings which makes the game even
MORE silly in that respect. What about a plane, or a boat, or a car, or even
a friggin push-bike for a change?!

I tried to think of scenes involving helicopters in the Street Fighter series.
The only ones I can think of are Zangief's ending in SF2 (where Gorby comes
down in a helicopter), Cammy's ending in Super SF2 (she and her team fly off
in a helicopter), and Charlie's ending in SF Alpha 2 (he gets shot in the back
by a couple of machine guns mounted on a helicopter, then he falls off a
cliff, then is somehow alive in SFA3).
But it would be cool if they found a working police or military
tank or even a bulldozer and rode it out of town, running over
zombies all the way and such. It's not impossible that they
could ride out of town instead of flying, because if Leon and
Claire could ride into town pretty much unnoposed... But then
again, that nuclear bomb would be a problem and they'd have to
really book it to escape to a safe distance in time.

which brings up another inconsistancy. When Re3 begins (24 hours before Re2),
the town is crawling with zombies. But at the begining of Re2, the town is
quiet and clean as a whistle. I'll never know what Capcom was thinking. As far
as I'm concerned, Code Veronica is the REAL Re3. This Re3 is just a lame side-
adventure. Shame on Capcom!

Definately go out and destroy your copy of RE3 and be sure to inflict
some kind of memory erasing head wound in order to forget the atrocity.
