I suppose they are getting cheaper now. I could buy one and get the other GC
RE titles as I've never played them either.
Can somebody explain to me the difference between the PS2 and the GC? I
heard something about the way the GC renders the backgrounds/environments
for the games is much better than the PS2 and that is why the new RE titles
have never been released on PS2. Is this true?

Well, graphically, RE and RE Zero are way beyond anything that's come
out for the PS2 (and arguably for the Xbox) and RE4 is superior to
even those, but that's not the reason behind why real RE games haven't
been coming to the PS2 -- Capcom signed an exclusive contract with
Nintendo for the real (apart from offshoots like Gunsurvivor,
Outbreak, and Gaiden) RE games up through RE4.
Despite the fact that the released info for RE4 says that there will
be no zombies and Umbrella is defunct, if you look at the screenshots
you can see the villagers are very zombie-like. Perhaps they aren't
true RE zombies as they aren't infected by the T-virus, but they
appear to be of the lurching, moaning, shambling sect nonetheless.

I think the gamecube has more advancd stuff like bumpmaps, maybe some other
stuff. But the gamecube has more graphical memory too (16MB IIRC) while the
PS2 only has about 4-8Meg (was it?).
None of these systems will come close to my Radeon 9800XT at 256Meg -
MWAHAHAHAHA : D .... LOL, to anyone who remembers me when I first started -
I'm movng up in the world huh!?

house of the dead arcade game,oh and i heard about this thing that
follows leon kinda like nemesis did with jill,what is it? I heard its
