So, who will be paying an extortionate price on Steam to acquire a greater number of pixels for their Red Alert experience?
Personally, I'm of the view that since the original Red Alert is available free to download, it would take quite a considerable number of pixels to persuade me to part with any further cash.
Is anybody able to confirm just how many additional pixels come with the remastered edition of the game..?

This is the third... no, fourth time I've bought C&C and Red Alert. First time when the games came out back in the 90's, second time in the C&C Decade pack, third time a while ago when EA offered all C&C games up for € 15 I think it was, and now.
I am pleasantly surprised. For the first time since the original DOS-game, I'm replaying it in the 'proper' view distance and it makes for a more exciting, imo even better, experience. I don't miss zooming out to see the entire map, at all.
The reworked units work really well and I love switching from the new view to the old from time to time. The game is also really hard on Hard Mode.
BTW, love the music.
