I have found that the best usage of the Chronospere is to teleport a cruiser to
a body of water very near an enemy base and wail on them. causes much damage.
Havn't tried it yet, but is it poss to transport an air unit, or
transport a sea unit onto land, or a land unit into sea? =)
Cheers,

do you mind if I put this on my homepage?

and a minelayer into enemies ore field.
But I was wondering... does anyone else have this problem?
When I mined his ore field with 5 anti-tank mines, only one exploded!
Mysteriously, when he finished harvesting that patch, there were 4 cells
of unharvested ore right where my mines were!
The chronosphere has quite a few very tricky uses for it... In my
opinion these are the best uses for it..
3) Chronosphereing a cruiser is always good.
4) I think this was mentioned in the previous post, but mining the
enemy's ore fields is another good use.

Useful for deploying radar jammer, but radar jammer itself
however, seems not so useful...

It would be nice to be able to chronosphere enemy units "legally." Aside
from being able to chronoshift a cruiser into adjacent water, it isn't
at all that great a weapon--particualarly if there is no water. As a
matter of fact, it may even hurt you if a vortex decides to chew up your base.
Additionally, I think the chronoshift is way too obvious, especially if
you chronoshift a MRJ.

You can't chronosphere any infantry units.. Only tanks and stuff like
that..
Mike
You can Chronosphere a MCY (that is still in vehicle mode)
and convert it to a building once it gets on station. It will
not come back. This is useful for setting up additional bases
on the other side of the enemy base!
The downside is the cost and time involved. Arguably, it
would be better if it did come back in mobile mode so _many_
such bases could be established. But it doesn't.
Against the computer the Chrono is still good for sending a Cruiser to other
water masses. On the last Allied mission you can chrono a Cruiser to the
other lake for easy base destruction. I have alos used the Chrono to send an
Artillery into their base to take out their Iron Curtains.
In the last board they get two iron curtains and if you chrono the artillery
to the right spot you can take out the iron curtain every time.

actually in team games, this strategy is used all the time.... it's nice
being able to have an allied and a soviet construction yard :)

chrono a cruiser to a body of water near the enemy base... as long as subs,
nearby teslas, etc are taken out, u can shred the enemy base with it.

Would you recommend easiest way to having both construction yards, without
having to take over an enemy yard for it.
I mean, are there other ways, like specifying something when designing a
map or something.

That's a pretty good idea.. I play 4 player team games all the time
and I hadn't thought of that one.

One way that is usefull is on a map like "Tresure Island" were the moving
around the map by water is imposibel becuase the "land bridges" going to
the middle island. So if you build the Cronosphere and Naval Yard on the
nearest section of water then build a Cruser, you transport the Cruiser to
the nearest part of water to the enemy base and because the enemy was not
expecting anything like this (no subs) you can freely blast away at the
base.
Even better.. chronoshift an MCV to the other section of water,
deploy it, and build a naval yard.

the most bestest uses for the sphere is to wait till your opponent
sees a crate and just as his heavy tank is upon it sphere a light tank
to right next to the crate and steal it!( crates are useless unless
you can get them in styl!) , then when he sees this he will get really
pissed off and attack the light tank, then to rub it in his face even
more get the light tank and do a few laps around the tank( as long as
the light keeps moveing he'll live). also i find the most practical
use for the sphere is to buy 5 tanyas( he will shit himself) put them
in an apc, ( now you get to laugh at the bitches) sphere them to
outside his base( create a diversion so he thinks that you sphered
something else) then get the apc and charge at his base!, he will shit
himself(again) and attack it with all his units then when it dies he
will realize that nothing is in it and now will, again start shitting
himself and be looking for the tanya's for the rest of the game.
You konw how cargo is detstroyed? Just make 2 APCs, fill 1 with two
tanyas. Then, mix them around (or do under GG) so that opponent does
not konw which is which.
THen, chrono the fake APC into his base! He will laugh and say what a
waste of tanyas. THEN attack with your real force and real tanyas. He
will panic and not know what to do!

Three strategy pages.
The only thing i can think of that could be usefull is the possibilty of
chronoshifting an MCV to the other side of the map.
There you can deploy it and start building a new base .
Works very nicely
Greetings
If you were to send a MCV over in a chronoshift, and deploy'd it..
wouldn't it just return to it's point of origin? rendering it useless. and
with the error factors, it may not even return in one piece. :)
