I am on Soviet Mission 13. I can't beat it I killed everything, and when I
capture the chronosphere it says "objective met." Then in red letters
"MISSION FAILED." I am on 13a, is there anyway to beat it?

On advice from my doctor I can no longer provide an answer to this

I have the exact same problem. I even tried capturing all the enemy radar
domes and then capturing the chronosphere. Same result: "objective
met"..."mission failed". What's the deal? Am I taking too long or
something? Anyone had a similar experience and found an answer? Any help
would be appreciated. Great game, though!

Make sure that you kill ALL other units on that map first.

(Groan) This question has been asked LOTS OF TIMES.Kill all structures except
the chronosphere.Look for hidden units and stuff behind trees. (End Groan)
Please do not take this personally,I have not been in this group as long as

Here's an excerpt from the Red Alert Internet strategy guide
at http://21net.com/shared/shop/redalert/shopra_mp.hst

7.2.18 SCU13EA
There is a difficult twist at the end of this mission. Read
the text carefully so you don't miss it.

Destroy the enemy tanks. Deploy the MCV. Build a refinery,
barracks, weapons factory, and repair bay. Train some
grenadiers for base defense. Build three heavy tanks, and
move your tank units south through the ravine. Destroy the
tanks and artillery, and continue until you've gone to the
very end. Turn back. Build another refinery.

Extend your base southwards with a few barracks or ore silos
so that you can build a sub pen in the bay area. Make enough
submarines to destroy the Allied ships in the bay farthest
south. Send a transport full of heavy tanks right up the
bay, and destroy the radar dome and the power plants,
including those on the top of the cliffs.

Charge the enemy camp with six or seven tanks, with the aim
of destroying the center radar dome. Drop paratroopers
nearby to assist. Curve your tanks northward and remove
another radar dome.

Construct a new armor column. The enemy will have run out of
nearby ore, and will send the ore trucks farther north.
Destroy the trucks with some tanks, and then destroy the
enemy's weapon factory. If you don't, you'll be up to your
ears in enemy tanks and artillery.

Send ten tanks all the way north, and then west. Cross the
bridge and do not stop for anything! Carry on south through
the enemy camp, past the ore fields. There is one more radar
dome you need to take out. Do it. The chronosphere is south
of those cliffs.

The Twist
There are two ways to complete the mission from here. None
of them involve capturing the chronosphere. If you capture
the chronosphere, you'll hear EVA say, "Objective reached"
followed by "Mission Failed" in big red letters plastered
all over your screen. Ignore your original mission briefing
-- it is not the way.

Instead of capturing the chronosphere, capture the barracks
to the northwest of it. Build a large group of rocket
infantry and destroy any helicopters that attack the
chronosphere.

Alternatively, build an iron curtain, and wait for it to
charge. Fly a spy plane over the chronosphere to reveal it.
Then, using the Iron Curtain to protect the chronosphere
from damage, roll a unit past the chronosphere. The
chronosphere will try to self-destruct, but won't since the
Iron Curtain has made it invincible.

Keeping tanks and infantry by the chronosphere to keep the
chronosphere safe, systematically destroy the remaining
Allied vehicles, structures, infantrymen, and ships. The
mission will end successfully when the last Allied unit is
killed.
