let me know how long it travel across the screen.in case of 800*600 screen
our mouse travels only 1".our mouse do not skids and work very well on glass
(i know it's very hard to believe but I use it on glass(big glass on my desk)
every day.

Believe it or not it is right in the centre and my monitor is in
800*600, I use an older Microsoft mouse as I can't stand cheap shitty
mice, they jam and skid all the time. If your ball is so light then how
do you reduce skid? Is it sprung downwards?

First,I am very sorry to made you felt me like a spammer,but I think I am not
what you thought,I was really enjoyed comander,redalert and sole survivor for a
while in past two years,my brother bought Tiberian's Sun last week when it's
available in Taiwan,but my favorite is still redalert.I never play on-line game
because I tried to link on line but failed serveral times.
If forget that I am handling mouse biz,as a gamer I would like to intruduce
a good mouse to other gamers just because it's good and very helpful for them.
mouse is a very important perpheral for a gamer,because gamers use the mouse
at least for hours each time(I played for all day long some times) and
requently suffering carpal symptom problems.I am quite sypathize those was
forcibly gave up to play game due to carpal prolems just you and others like
to help others when they have truble of playing redalert.because our products
not available in US market that's why I put few auctions on ebay to let
your people to try it,the money order they send for payment I never cash them
beacuse very small amount that Taiwan local bank will charge me more than the
amount,the truth is I am giving away the mice through ebay,we pay all including
mice,package,postage...
Back to your questions,
How to reduce the skid:beacuse light ball can start rolling and stop much
quick than heavy ball,what make the ball rolls?the key is the friction
between ball surface and the surface where mouse stands,if the friction
coefficient is "0" the ball will just move but not rolling when you
move mouse.but if ball dosen't roll the cursor on screen doesn't move
too.in order to make ball rolls we have to give the ball enough force
to overcome the static friction between ball and mouse pad(if put
the mouse on pad),the light ball got less static friction and start
move faster than heavy ball on same pad if both has same size and
same ball surface theoretically.it means heavy ball need rougher
surface to make it rolling.but heavy ball can easily to push the
encoder shafts(X,and Y shaft,where we clean in ball hole) rolling(
that's why some mouse use light ball skids).
the contradictory is havey ball need rougher pad to make it move
but it can make encoder shafts rolling much easier than light ball.
but if we can make the shafts lighter(actually less friction between
shafts and holders)then the shafts can rolls with very little force
transfer from ball,it requires very accurate and complicated
calculation for mechanical design,in that case we can use light ball,
but very difficult to gain it when use same mechnical structure.
reverse,when you want to stop the mouse.light ball will stop quicker
than heavy ball.if you like to try it,I would be pleased to send you

You really believe in your product don't you? So why don't you find a
USA and UK distributor? Personally I find the most inportant thing is to
make sure you rest your wrist on the table, never use the mouse at the
table edge, your hand, wrist and shoulders ache then.

OK You have just proven I know little about mouse design. Its just in my
experience mice with light balls have had lots of problems with non-
responsiveness.

I agreed I approached usenet in wrong way.but my intention is to let more
about new mouse technology,some need it when buying a new mouse or help
them to improve carpal symptom problems,I should not to say product first,
it sounds a advertising(20% of my intention,I confessed),I hate spammers
too especially spamming to personal email address,10 min ago just got
a spammer sent me a sexual web site address<puking,can't go on for a while>.
When PC advanced from 386 to 486-P1-P2-P3...,monitor 14"-15"-17"-19"-21"
screen resolution 640*480-800*600-1024*768-...we have to move the mouse
further and further,more hand actions needs,because mouse never chnage
the resolution in past 15 years(did you try iMac mouse 250-300dpi,how you
feel about it?).users have very little knowledge about mouse,because no
one talk about mouse,beacuse it's cheap and free(bundle case).if you
ask a user how he/or she choose a mouse,the answer will be:
Brand,Price,Shape,Image(used before).
If you ask them about resolution,ball wieght,relationship between mouse
and mouse pad,why clean ball ofen,what cause carpal symptom problem,guess
how many can answer the questions?
Your are right,not to use moouse at the table edge,but will you "grab"
the mouse,raise it and get it back on mouse pad when it's going out
of mouse pad?in this case presure act on shoulder,if you don't then
you have to smear the mouse(use wrist) in large angle,it could hurt
you wrist(relate with angle and speed) then accumulate working injury
could happened.
I would like to discuss more with you and other gamers,it may help you
know more about mouse,after all we rely on it to control our PC more
than keyboard.I would like to have mouse knowledge survey and discussion
with gamers in different boards soon.(not advertising,I better not to
