Loopy Landscapes NO CD PAtch

Is there a no cd patch for Loopy landscapes?

I have a notebook computer and dislike carrying all my CDs with me.

As long as you're happy editing the registry it is possible. There's a
Knowledge Base article at RCT Station about this.

Unfortunately RCT Station is down temporarily while a new server is
installed.

There's a No CD patch for the original RCT, don't think this works with LL
though. If you can get the page to open, I have tried for the last 2 nights,
http://rct.ogresnet.com/ & in the knownledge base they have the instructions
for a No CD trick that works with LL....

Hope this helps, hope you can get the page to open, I still can't ....

No need for a patch...

You need to install RT, then AA (or CF) and finally LL.

Once installed, copy the contents of the DATA folder from the CD to
(select all)

c:\RollerCoaster Tycoon\Data

The important thing here is not to overwrite any files, always click NO
when presented with the option. Best way is to copy all the files, not
the folder itself

Once this is done (should take a few mins) Open regedit

Go here.........
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Fish Technology Group\RollerCoaster
Tycoon Setup
You should see the string........
Path = (this being you installation dir)
SetupPath = (This being your CD ROM Drive)

Simply copy and paste so they are both the same
Path = (this being you installation dir)
SetupPath = (this being you installation dir)

Hey Presto,
No CD required.

No, you don't have to install AA/CF explicitly. When you install LL, it
automatically installs AA/CF.

Also note that this method may not work until LL has been patched to the
latest version (1.20.013) using the official patch from Hasbro/Infogrames.
