I致e installed RCT on my sisters computer, which is running XP. And
every time she clicks on the icon to play, nothing happens. :evil:

Try running the game in "WIN98" mode.
right click on the desktop icon, and choose "properties" then
"compatibility"
that worked for me with RCT2

You probably need the patch to 1.08.187.
