Q3 FFA Server config with all weapons at startup

[Umm Hmm, Lies!]

hey guys,

can someone give me the cmd line and config for FFA with all weapons?

i want to be able to let my boy play and he doesnt understand how to get all
the weapons or he dies to quickly.

if he starts with all the weapons he could practice

But spdevmap doesn't work at all anymore for cheats, the command might
as well just be spmap.
If you want to play against bots and cheat use devmap mapname, then add
bots from the "esc" menu.
That's the only way to get cheats to work in the 1.27 prs.
Sometimes to enable cheats you have to enable it from the command line
as well (+set sv_cheats 1).
And to be honest I've never really tried this accept to use some angle
stuff to view models and take screenshots in maps. So I don't really
know how well this works against bots.

unzip to main q3arena directory with folders enabled
start q3arena and click on mods
select challenge promode
click on practice
remove all the bots (because the vote will fail)
\callvote arenatype ca
add bot to blue team
join the red team
fight with all weapons....

Ok now you type that in (spdevmap - go on, do it now :-P) and tell me
if you get cheats enabled ;-)

I know what it's *supposed* to do but it appears it was broken in one
of the point releases.

I'm joining an FFA game to call the vote, so there's no team to join yet.
I'm in an FFA game by myself.
/callvote arenatype ca
vote passes
hit esc
add bots
then i join opposite team i put the bots on

Maybe I'm skipping a step that would allow me to start the single player
game as a clan arena instead of FFA?
