OLA maps

there are OLA q3 servers using OLA maps...

can't download the maps from the servers and can't find the maps on the
web...

anyone got an url for this OLA-maps pack ?

I have a BIG Problem with my Ms Intellimouse explorer (optical)
Some time ago it started to go berzerk!, It looses track of the desired
direction, when moving it fast i end up looking at the sky/floor/random
(leavin me Fraggbait for the oppont, i lub this game!, but like this it
aint fun anymore, can anyone help me please!, Pweaaaaasssee :´(

During last weeks ive been lowering my mouse sensitivity from
14 > 12 > 10...9...
Now it is on 8, however since it now has to travel a much greater distance
for a quick flick (in the same time as before, duh! ;O)
I was thinking thats it i have to up the sensitivity, and Tadaaaaaaa
back in bussiness, Bummer Tho!, it still looses track

So in short => Help!

other erratic Shit:

sometimes it seems if one of the movement keys is stuck (Not physically
(different keyb = same result), and i keep going in a given direction or i
can only move in one direction.
(watch me Void!, here i come!, damn!, it aint no swimming pool ;)

and

there is a (donno how to discribe this really, but i try to give it a name)
delayed action on the keys (movement)

for anyone who can help me out here, ill send a letter of reference to the
big Hears/sees/knows -all Guy'inthe'Sky! ;O)

try enabling mouse acceleration... the settings I use in my autoexec.cfg are
seta sensitivity 5
seta cl_mouseAccel 5

Although I use the old IntelliMouse (with the ball) I would think this would
help you out some.. then again maybe it won't, I dunno I don't own an
optical mouse hehe

I had the exact same thing with the Intellieye Explorer.

I've sorted it with a change of mouse-mat and Q3 mouse settings. I used
to use one of the 3M ones, but I think it was too shiny. You need a
really dull and well textured surface for the mouse to track properly at
high speed. I found this bizarre eco-friendly Industrial Hemp mouse pad
(amazing what you can find these days) - looks a bit like black canvas and
works a treat.

I agree with LoTekGuru - Switching on mouse acceleration helped a lot as
well, but took some getting used to.

You might think this is insane, but it works for me...

I've gone from using

sensitivity 16
cl_mouseAccel 0

to

sensitivity 0.1
cl_mouseAccel 5

The mouse almost never bugs out now, and my aim has improved a lot ;-)

You may have a crease or simmilar on your mat which cases the eye to misinterperate the movement.....or at least I do.

Yep, I've had this happen to me too. It's as the Page Up and Page
Down keys are being pressed very rapidly. I don't know how to fix
it because it's only happened twice, but my theory is that it needs
to be raised off the mat so that the "eye" can get "reset" or
something.
